You can tell it is holder but nice remodel. I have run other hotels so saw flaws other would not see. Paint chips, mirrors w/flakes off. Nice touch was fridges, usa today paper, breakfast and very friendly staff. stayed due to snow storm and close to work
Just a tip to continue to remodel rooms, especially bathroom door mirrors. Most I saw had silver flakes off. Easy fix.
It was not that expensive and it very clean and staff was very nice.
They overbooked the motel and they ended up finally paying for my room in a hotel across the street. It was a total mess! They tried to say that it was Pricelines fault but I complained enought that they finally paid for my motel stay somewhere else.
The staff had no interest in working with us on switching to a non smoking room. The hallways were musty smelling. If you are a non smoker make sure your room is listed as such on price line.
Location and desk personnel
not very clean and could not get the 'free' internet
The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices.
The room was labelled a non-smoking room but did have a smoke smell. The motel was adequate a reasonably comfortable. The breakfast was nice and offered a array of choices. The beds were comfortable but the room smelled like smoker's room.
We arrived. No one was at the desk.5 minutes later, the girl came in from her smoke. The roomsare old. Patches, small holes from changing out knobs, etc. were everywhere. Other people's hair on bathroom floor. The rooms all had lg.windows to hall w/curtain.This is an extremely old hotel. Apparently a two story motel originally. It wasn't dirty, but not real clean either. People working were sketchy at best. Very large windows in your room to hall way that apparently were once sliding doors to outside. Had to keep curtain pulled so therefore we didn't have any outdoor light.
Location was great. Easy access to campus/schools, restaurants, etc.
They were going to charge me a fee for checking in at 2:15pm instead of waiting until 3pm. Sat & waiting for 25 minutes for someone to come to the counter and help me get checked in. Not clean at all. Some of the staff were extremely rude for no reason!Location is great if you need access to campus for UNI and you are close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Price isn't bad, but what you get is not great either compared to other hotels for this price. It's dirty and the staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. I waited almost 30 minutes to get checked in and when I got to my room, my keys didn't work. When i walked back to the desk, the person picked up the phone and just walked away even though there was a line waiting for help. While i was waiting, someone called to ask for direction and the front desk person told them she wasn't good at directions so she couldn't help them. The room...
My room was 85 degrees and I turned the thermostat down and it never cooled off. I went to the desk, they gave me a fan and I had to blow the cool air from the hall. It was almost 90 degres the next morning in my room. Numerous guest were told the same.I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN. I asked about getting a different room and they said all they had was a fan. Guest services was no help resolving my issue.
