Take in the sweeping views from your deck or vaulted great room, relax at the secluded Fireside Patio or explore 28 private acres. All of our cabins feature a gas fireplace, full kitchens and appliances, BBQ grills, 37" HDTV and wireless internet. Perfect for staying in touch while you're away. Enjoy the Fireside Patio featuring a 6 person hot tub next to a glowing wood burning fireplace. Relax and unwind before walking the pathway to the plush lodge pole bed awaiting in your cabin. Make some memories with family and friends and plan a canoe or kayak trip on the scenic Cedar River. We can customize your trip for your group's particular needs. Charles City is home to a new White Water kayak and tubing course and provides hours of fun and refreshment on summer days. Charles City also offers excellent nearby golf courses with great values. In addition to golf, one can enjoy excellent fishing, biking, swimming, boating, lawn tennis, hunting, and more. In winter the river and groomed trails provide great access to over 200 miles of snowmobile trails. Bring your snow shoes and cross country skis as the woods and meadow allow plenty of space to explore while the kids enjoy good old fashioned sledding on our hills. Perhaps the local culture and history interest you? Check out the Charles City Arts Center, Mooney Art Collection, Charles Theatre, or Floyd County Historical Museum, the birthplace of the tractor. A short day trip in the country will lead you on a discovery of Floyd County’s Historic Barn Quilts, Fossil & Prairie Park, Covered Bridge or Little Brown Church in the Vale.
