needs repair! for the price, ?
The shuttle service to downtown Charleston was awesome.
Breakfast left a little to be desired.
old decore, bath had ceiling cracks and stains from leek above. Bath door split and in need of paint at bottom,
Location to where I we were doing business
Yes, priceline did nothing for me this time, I could have saved forty dollars if I booked at the hotel.
The restaurant food was fair- the view is spectacular. The location is perfect
Getting in and out of the facility parking lot was challenging- busy highway.
Rooms have been semi refurbished with new bed linens, carpet and nice flat screen tv. Comfortable stay. Restaurant menu new and improved. I know, why eat at the hotel while in Charleston where there are tons of restaurants, but sometime you have to.
noI would stay here again next time I'm in Charleston on business
Location was near to good restaurants. Liked the balcony.
Seemed dirty w nasty carpet. I even checked for bed bugs. It was one of those places w so much powdered sanitizer (or is it deodorizer), that I was grateful to be able to open the window. I am not a clean freak, but it was creepy.Nice location for a gangsta party, not middle class ladies traveling alone. I even hated to use their luggage cart. It was upholstered w something that could have come from a greasy garage floor. As a nurse, I knew how to check for bed bugs, but could not find any (whew) Room had over whelming smell of that deodorizer that smells so strong it can cover up the smell of canned tuna. Nice view from the the open balcony. We were able to 'utilize' this room for sleeping and showers, but couldn't wait to get out.I would never go back. Girl at desk on check in (late pm) was pleasant enough, but the gal in the morning seemed underwhelmed, and all but rolled her eyes at t...
Flourescent lighting in bathroom flickered the entire time, it was like a strobe light when trying to shower. Also hairs were found in our sheets and pillowcases. My husband always checks the bed(s) out in our hotel rooms (he has watched way too much Hotel Impossible). Upon inspection, one of the beds had multiple hairs visable when the sheets were pulled down and most of the pillows had a hair on them. We chose the cleaner of the 2 beds to sleep on and the pillows w/o the hairs. When we went out the next day, we informed the front desk of this and also about the flickering flourescent light in the bathroom which made it almost like showering in a strobe light. We came back to a clean-er room, but the light was never fixed or bulb replaced in the bathroom during our stay. When showering the first day, I noticed a hair stuck on the top soap dish of the shower. That same hair (which was obvious it had been there a while) was sti...
View from the restaurant is outstanding; lunch buffet is nice.
It's located between the east and west lanes of a highway; you need to have a car in order to walk into Charleston (unless you feel like nimbly dashing across 3 lanes of freeway-traffic).
The showers were terrible and water leaked into the entire bathroom
