|Charlotte Center City Hotel|
The hotel is currently under construction so that was slightly annoying. However the staff from Wayne at the front desk to Antonio at the bar were excellent. Super friendly and they went above and beyond my expectations.
The construction which will eventually end.
Very modern updated rooms with a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline
Still under construction so not all the amenities were ready, but I'm sure when it is, this hotel will be top notch.
Clean took forevere my wife and I let our room ay 1pm call and call house keeping before we left the room so someone could clean while we were out they said that someone would be there around 3pm when we got around 2am nothing it was the way we left it.It was a great hotel other than the renovating. Really enjoyed the location
The room was large and recently renovated
The hotel was in the midst of renovations. The room had a slight odor to it. there was no way to keep water from the shower off the floor of the bathroom.
Further from downtown than expected and $20 for self parking in their lot beside hotel that I was not aware of as well as having to pay $10 for wifi.
the room was decorated nicely
Our room wasn't ready until 11pm! We were not offered any compensation for this. We had to pay $20 to park and there were NO spots to park in so we had to park illegally. No fridge in the room, no coffee pot in the room or coffee offered in the lobby. This hotel is under construction. The place is a mess, the staff is useless and rude. They are disorganized and gave away rooms they had already committed to others causing a great commotion. The 'hotel car service' was expensive and did not run after 11pm. We were not told this when we used it to go out. We needed to use a nearby hotel to get back to our room. The glasses in the room smelled like glass cleaner, and were clearly NOT cleaned properly. Again, the parking cost $20 and there were no spots. The room that was not ready for us until 11pm consisted of sheets with a clear, fresh dried blood stain on it. We are baffled on how this hotel is rated at 3 stars w...
The beds were amazingly comfortable. Much needed after a long day. And the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Our room had a leaky toilet and despite having the temp in our room set at 72, we went to bed with it 65 and woke up and it was 59. We froze!Overall a great hotel. Nice rooms. Innovative. They needed to work on our toilet and heat though.
It's 2013, there is no need to charge for internet.
Clean/newly updated rooms.
The 1st room I was given had a concrete wall directly outside my window. All I could see was concrete. I complained and they gave me a new room. $20 parking feeThe hotel was one of the older ones downtown but was being renovated. The room was spacious and clean. The lobby was still being painted but there were no inconveniences due to it. The bar had a nice drink menu with great beer selection.
