The pool area was nice, rooms have been updated, shuttle to in town
only 1 elevator working out of 2 when we were there
One elevator broken, only one elevator available for ten floors of guests
I liked the room itself. The room looked exactly like the picture.
The hotel charge you an additional $ 15.00 dollars for you to park your own selves. And the food from the hotels restaurant was horrible. It looked like dog food. It was my first anniversary with my husband on Valentine's Day.
My family and I love downtown Charlotte and the hotel and staff was wonderful.
The only thing we didn't like was that you had to pay for parking at the hotel even when you were a customer staying there. Never had to do that before in other cities we've stayed in.
The hotel was very close to everything. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay very pleasant.
I liked everything about this hotel.
Messed up reservation. Was supposed to be for two double beds and had me down for one king... sold out as it was New Years Eve so rollaway had to be brought up (after being reminded 3 times)
Great food at the onsite restaurant. Breakfast was good, too. Staff was nice, with one exception.
There was one staff member that I felt was short and quite honestly, rude. After booking a balcony room, she told me twice that I would not be getting a balcony room. After twice explaining that my itinerary included a balcony, management fixed the issue.
Breakfast is great
Please fix the air conditioner in the room.It is loud for one thing and then the cover rattles and I have to put a chair against it to stop the rattle.Parking should be free too
Great location--breakfast was excellent---free Internet
The room was modern and very clean. The breakfast exceeded expectation.
Customer Service of the Front Desk was less than helpful. No explained how to exit the parking lot without getting charged. It was tricky for someone not used to their parking system.
Nice pool/bar area. Rooms were modern and clean. Hotel was close enough to everything. Free shuttle offered for destinations within 3 miles-this includes the B of A stadium.
It's a little outside of the main area of College where many of the bars and restaurants are, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Very Modern feel. Neat and Clean. Restaurant and bar were nice.
Not all the channels on the television worked.
Staff friendly and pleasant but not well informed. Staff tried to be helpful. Liked free breakfast in morning but given the wrong time -- twice. Took free shuttle to dinner one night. Liked instant coffee in room and refrigerator in room.
Breakfast time given was not correct. Phones did not work properly, pool not filled let alone working. Room service took close to 2 hours to be delivered. No ice cream for kids. Lots of construction. No snack machines. No working ice machine.
The rooms were newly renovated.
The renovations to the hotel were not completed.
New renovations, location, beds
Unable to see or use all amenities as renovations were not finished but I forsee it all being really nice-
Very close to everything downtown and was able to walk to many places. What was redone, the rooms were nice.
A lot of noise from remodeling. The fire alarm kept going off for about 30 mins. The staff was nice but the room they gave us had a guy already inside to where we had to switch to non balcony room which was disappointing but they took car of parking
When we went the hotel was being renovated (which we knew). The staff was excellent, but many of the services and public spaces were closed. The room was very nice though.
All if the staff was quite pleasant.
The hotel is undergoing serious renovation. It should not be currently open. The outside signage is still covered, making it difficult to even find the hotel. The lobby is still under construction and covered with dust. Many more things, not worth staying
Walking distance to city center
I reserved a balcony room, did not gey it. No mention was made during my reservation or when I emailed the hotel that it was under extensive renovations. Only one fuctioning elevator = long waits. Bathroom had no fan so steamy mirrors
The beds were very comfortable. Loved the view I had of the city. The staff was very friendly.
The room was nice but it was a very poor experience feel like I wasted money staying here
Under reconstruction needs to be shut down until finish
Easy check in.
High parking price ($15), a lot of construction, nothing was open(pool, gym, lounge).
Nothing over paid for it, gimme my damn money back
Hell it was under construction, it didn't look nothing like the picture
Comfortable beds with all white linens. Room was very clean, staff was helpful. It was also pretty quiet up on the sixth floor. Free wi-fi in room was nice. Spacious room.
Bathroom door was a sliding door, that was a privacy issue. There is plenty of parking but it cost $15/day.
