Location was good and receptionist was very knowledgable.
Continental breakfast was a let down. I would suggest they remove it all together if they are not committed to doing it right. This could be a better hotel if they committed to make it better. One simple thing to do is to invest in better towels, soap, and shampoo.
It was in close proximity to downtown and the Convention Center t.
Hotel was old and in need of remodeling. Magnetic key cards did not work; had to swipe multiple times to get room door open. Towels in room look old and dirty. Housekeeping cleaned rooms on a request basis (a first for me!)With this hotel being in such close proximity to the dowtown are I was really disappointed in the overall appearance of the hotel , the conditions of the room and the service. I will not use this hotel again nor will I recommend it to others. This hotel did not offer any amenities other that cable tv and there was internet access,
I never even checked in. We drove up and it looked horrible from the outside. I will never purchase another room without pictures online first.
This hotel was located close the area that I was visiting. Walking distance. Security guards and officers were everywhere up and down the sidewalks. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area (great recommendations from them).
The hotel is dated. Some cosmetic renovations would be great. The atmosphere around the hotel was quiet the days I was there. The hotel would seem to be great for the short term trip (2-3 nights). There was no pool or anything to entertain kids. Would I stay again: yes.
Its location was within walking distance to my meetings. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced.
It is a former Days Inn in deplorable condition. Room was not ready (towels and pillow cases missing), phone did not work, bathroom sink stopper did not work, there was a constant drip in the bathtub.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a run-down, former Days Inn that has not been maintained very well. The 'included breakfast' was limited to 2 or 3 kinds of cold cereal, coffee, a muffin, or toast.
The staff really are nice, helpful people. They seem to do a good job maintaining the place.
The room lacked an alarm clock. Only one undersized towel available. In ta sketchy neighbourhood. Only half of TV channels working. This would've been a great hotel in 1975. It hasn't been updated since. The restaurant is closed. The continental breakfast is little more than corn flakes, froot loops and weak, stale coffee. Panhandlers and bums are all around; you cannot leave your room without being accosted for change. The WiFi is free and works well. Great if you want to save a buck or are in hiding from crazy people.
location close to stadium; 20 minute walk. Alots of restaurants and bars close by.
Interior could be nicer--poor paint job, especially in the bathroom.Nice enough for a one night stay...maybe even over the weekend.
Good location, price, and staff. We enjoyed the hotel, it has a good location, just be aware of your surroundings.
Good Price & location for uptown motelFor the price the old Days Inn Motel, now privately owned, right in Uptown Charlotte was very acceptable, particularly if you do not wish to pay twice as much in some of the main hotels.
