The hotel was clean and staff was friendly, the breakfast especially the eggs where fabulous (not powdered eggs).
No pullout couch in the room, weird since it had a full-size fridge, microwave and stove top. Bathtub was old and yellow (should have been white) room had a real stale smell, Had to open window. The batter for the waffle went sour-found out while eating
The staff was fantastic - every interaction that I had with them was great! The room was up to date and clean with pleasant modern design. Bed was comfortable, room unit worked like a champ and the water pressure and temp in the shower were good.
It was terribly hot in the hallways; When I entered my room it was fine, but I don't think there was any sort of temp control for the public spaces. There is not enough soundproofing - you really can hear just about everything through the walls/door.
It was ok definitely needs a make over!
Needs a make over!
Booked for 3 people, when we arrived there was one small queen size bed. There was a small chair, which we had to use to sleep. No towels were provided at all. only one hand towel. Overall experience was horrible. We did complain to manager but no help.
Very friendly staff, great service.
Mattress had fowl odor slept on sofa bed. When reported the following morning No offer made to switch my room only added points to my account. Reported again the second morning that mattress should be changed they said they should've given me other room.
Nice and quiet
Only one bed. Was needing 2 beds
Not bad and although the bed could have been a bit more comfortable it isn't a 4 or 5 star so there you go-
We went to check in and there was no one at the desk for like half an hour or so. We went and got something to eat and then checked in. It was about 10 at night.
Nothing terrible customer service
Private bedroom in suite, nice complimentary breakfast
Was not as clean as I would like
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good too.
There was no option for a double bed room. And the room was not really a suite. I would call it an efficiency.
Buyer beware!! they have no rooms with more than one bed in it and I had to spend an extra $40 totaling $--- for a room with a queen and a pullout couch!!!
Little tough to find the place. Our uber took 30 minutes to reach the destination.
Bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. Room had a musty smell when we first entered.
The room was dirty. There was a piece of gum and beer bottle cap on the floor. The bed matress was moist. After our first night, we found the plate to be half washed. The breakfast was horrible.
Manager's reception and breakfast offered
It felt dirty and old, despite claims to the contrary of a remodel recently. No swimming pool was another detraction. Bed was uncomfortable, towels were thin, certainly not a 3-star hotel.
Right off I-77, very convineient and easy to find. Loved having a full size fridge. Room was very clean.
Was over priced
Much nicer than expected as I have had varying experiences with the Wyndham brand. Definitely recommend.
A lobby 'pantry' would be nice to get a drink or light snack.
The breakfast area was inadequate for the number of people. Awkwardly set up and not a good selection.
The breakfast was good
Yes, my room was not cleaned', for 5 days
Bedding, air conditioning, barhroom had no counter, not even close a 3 star as advertised
My wife and I looked for a 3 star hotel in this area for a business call the next day. The experience was so bad to include an unsafe feeling both inside and outside this hotel, we did not stay. We went to a different hotel. We have never had to do this.
This hotel was dirty, and the inside and outside had seedy people loitering around the property. The hallways were dark and a strong feeling of it being unsafe. It is a one star extended stay hotel with new paint claiming to be a 3 star hotel.
My husband was having heart surgery. They went out of the way to add duvets to the bed to soften the mattress. They were very supportive of me staying alone. I locked myself out, they graciously gave me another key along with a dose of sympathy.
The mattress was a little too firm. No other complaints.
Having a kitchenette was very nice!
Breakfast was lacking in protein sources. Eggs and a breakfast meat would be really nice!
The continental breakfast was great!
The hotel was dirty. We heard the elevator all night along with the guest above us. They also didnt have any dpuble bed rooms available like i requested.
The staff were good.
Location was way off. Uber GPS takes you elsewhere. Could have done better job of cleaning the toilets. The room had a stink when I got back in the evening.
The breakfast was excellent!
It doesn't have a pool or hot tub.
Quiet, comfy bed
Dirty glasses in kitchenette, lobby has strong smoke odor, wifi was very slow
It was 'okay.'
When I think of a 'suites' hotel, I think of Embassy Suites or Renaissance Suites. This place reminded me of a cheap studio apartment or a cheap 'efficiency' at the beach. Nothing really wrong, just very cheap looking and feeling.
boring no frills
Nice comfortable room with kitchen.
Premises was occupied by vagrants and other seedy characters.
The bathroom looked renovated, room itself was ok. Breakfast was ok. I like the fact they had a kitchen
I saw many dogs. The sofa bed and bed looked dirty. We had to go to the front desk to get sheets for hotel. It seems it was more people living there. No kind of room service.
Room was nice and so were staff.
The entire hotel smelled like dog. It was nauseating and that included hotel and our room. Other patrons had dogs and i had dog hair in my nose and it just v ruined my stay. I'll choose a hotel that doesn't allow dogs.
Breakfast was good.
I had to pay extra for a sleeper sofa in the 1 bedroom suite.
Friendly staff. Great breakfast
Very noisy from hall and room above. Simply walking kept me awake. I needed to be alert the next day and slept very poorly because of insufficient insulation/soundproofing.
Wasn't a 3 star hotel was very disappointed since I paid for a 3 star hotel. Bed was very uncomfortable
Nice room nothing especially great.
Yes! The alarm went off at 2AM. Had to get up to evacuate but no fire existed and we could go back. But the alarm still blaired in our heads till the fire depo came to reset. It was horrible! After the staff kept us up with noise all night long.
Very little; the staff was pleasant
There are no double bedded rooms in this hotel so it should not be given a star rating with other hotels who have double bedded rooms. Also, the 'breakfast' was totally inadequate and inferior to others of the same star rating. There was no maid service.
On repeated requests hotel not able to provide room With 2 beds as we were travelling with 2 kids. One bed smaller than queen size. Room only appropriate for singles. Was told 'we don't have any rooms in this hotel with 2beds.' Could not provide a crib.
Pets allowed, though with $15 fee I was unaware of.
Just about everything, unfortunately.
No exercise room, smelled of paint, no lobby Bad attitude of man behind desk
Hotel was dirty. furniture and bedding out of date. looked more like a 1 star hotel. very dissapointed
Male clerk at the hotel was accommodating and helped us through the situation we were in.
Hotel was under construction and getting in and out was terrible. No roll away beds available the night we stayed. Had to make a bed on the floor.
Rooms were nice
Hotel was under renovations. Jackhammers would not let you get any rest and was not told this when booking. Free breakfast was coffee place in the hallway.
Close to freeway.
Room not clean (toilet dirty), location (rough neighborhood). Didn't get room we requested (we reserved a King size bed and got a Queen size. Hotel undergoing construction, which is ok except the stairs were unsafe. Outside sinks, stovetops, etc.. litter
It was under renovation/construction. It was dirty and unsecured. The room needed maintenance. Their were construction workers all around, pounding and banging. The hotel should have closed during renovation.
Nothing- Not worth what I paid for it
It had a kitchen that dated back to the early 90's. I got the feeling there were a ton of 'permanent' visitors. Uncomfortable out dated and i did not have a clean feeling. And 'breakfast' was a basket of muffins and granola bars and a tub juice cans.
I travel quite abit, and unfortunately the co I work for makes me go through the system of comparing values when it comes to my lodging, your co gave me the best value for my money, thank you MichaelD.
We will stay here again when we visit Charlotte. The staff was helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The hotel was close to so many things, and in a safe location. The room was clean, roomy and comfy. I'm glad we stayed here, this place really deserves to be a 3 1/2 stars.
This hotel is tucked away in a very quiet corner. I got to the hotel at night so my mind was on just going to sleep. The surprise awaited me outside of the hotel in a burst of fall colors! What a feast for the eyes! The trees were so pretty. I basically did not want to leave the parking lot. Overall, my one-night stay was terrific!
Great staff, location and accommodation. I would suggest this place for anyone traveling on business or even with a family.
This is a great place if traveling on business or with family. It's a very clean and safe place and has become my home away from home. I work in Charlotte during the week and will only stay here. Don't expect a lot of bells and whistles but this is perfect for extended and short stays..
Stayed for just 2 nights while on a buisness trip the room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was great during check in and check out no problems to be had. Plan on staying here again if I return to the area.
I have stayed at this property for the past 5 months for business travel. The property is clean, the room is comfortable (bed, kitchen, etc), ammenities including the fitness area, laundry, and some on-site food for purchase are very convenient. The location of this property makes for easy travel to all of Charlotte. All of this being said, the best part is the staff. They are friendly, professional, and will do their best to make your stay THE BEST.
