I loved the location and the room with separate bedrooms along with the great kitchen area with utensils to use. This hotel was great!!
When I told them I need something they gave it to us.
They didnt come and clean the room. After I told them I need some sheets. They went in but they didn't make the bed or nothing
I was traveling alone and I felt very safe at this facility. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed.
Not too expensive
Front desk attendant was not helpful or willing to look for my reservation since I did not have a confirmation # with me
Nice and quiet location.
I wish there were more parking up front and it would have been great if they had parking behind the hotel where you could also enter through the back door but there was not even a back door. You had to walk around to the front door.
It was very quiet and the location was very convenient for my family. It is near a lot of restaurants and shopping areas.
The hotel was completely booked and there was limited parking for everyone. My second night there we had to park in front of the office near the curb. There was no where else to park.
The staff were outstanding! They even put a breakfast 'to go' together when we realized we had not read our flight schedule properly and could not eat!
A little bit too far away from city.
The room was huge! Lobby was clean and inviting & breakfast options were great!
Location, only one restaurant close by.
We enjoyed our stay at TownePlace Suites. I arrived early and my room wasn't ready but the staff was excellant in making me feel comfortable while I waited. They were apologetic and it had nothing to do with them. I was early and I knew that. The room was spacious and wonderful. It felt more like a mini appartment than a hotel room. I was very impressed with the room and the service. If I'm ever in Charlotte again this will be the hotel I stay in. No question about that. Friendly service that will do what they can to make your stay wonderful. This is one hotel that you actually get more than you pay for.
My wife and a friend our ours stayed at this location to attend the NRA national convention in Charlotte over 13-16 May 2010. We booked late, so most properties near the uptown area and near the airport were full. This property exceeded our expectations. If you are there in the afternoon, they bake fresh cookies for the guests. The parking is free. They do not have much of an area to eat breakfast; I think the room will hold a maximum of 6 folks at a time, but the food was fine, as far as free breakfasts go. With the full kitchen, you can easily cook anything you want. The full sized refrigerator could hold a weeks worth of groceries. The free internet was wireless and worked well. I think that each bedroom had a TV as well as the living room. The bedrooms were quiet, and you could not hear the TV in the next bedroom at all. The bathroom was large, clean, and well maintained. The managers at the front desk were friendly and helpful. One went out of his way to provide maps and directions to non-chain type restaurants in the Charlotte area for us.
This was my first trip to Charlotte and the Hotel was very nice. Much better than I expected. The staff at the front dest were outstanding. I arrived early and my room was not ready but the staff was willing to do anything to make my wait comfortable. They were friendly and courtious. The pool wasn't open for the season yet but it still looked clean and inviting. I plan to stay here again on a return trip. This is just an EXCELLANT place to stay when you can't be at home.
