Friendly owner (& dog) good breakfast and excellent rooms with a lounge with tea & coffee making facilities which yu rarely find in any continental hotels or B&Bs. Handy for Paris, Chartres and historic sites.
Very friendly and welcoming host. Nice quiet location with clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and lovely restaurant within a couple of miles. Would recommend.
Very friendly and homely feel. The proprietor gave a very personal service, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delightful.
The owner looked after us extremely well and was cheerful, enthusiastic and most helpful. The owner has thought of the little details that make you comfortable. A lot of excellent local information was made available to us, as well as useful recommendations. The warning about the steepness of the stairs is appropriate.
Starting with a very warm and friendly welcome, to secure parking, nicely furnished rooms and a very good breakfast.
The setting is quiet and peaceful. The owner (Ms. Simon) speaks English, and she is very friendly and helpful. There is secure parking. The village of Chandelles is a few kilometers from Maintenon, which has a very good restaurant (ask Ms. Simon for the name), several cafes and boulangeries, and a chateau that is worth visiting; Chandelles is also close to Chartres and Paris.
There was nothing we did not like--it was excellent.
We only stayed over night onour way south.

Quality of the room .peaceful situation
