Price was good
aircondition was broke, poor cooling. Grumpy guy at the front desk, rotten milk and poor service at the breakfast. Waiting for 10 minutes for someone to check out
Pleasantly surprised at how nice the Hotel is verses the price and location. Very good breakfast included with many selections to choose from.I would stay again.
A liitle tricky to find from main road.
Location was excellent for the Minnesota Renaissance Faire. Outside of building looked very nice. Had indoor parking, on a first first come basis. Nice little restaurant/malt shop located in same building.
Mattresses were the hardest I've ever tried to sleep on. Shower head didn't spray water, it was like standing under a garden hose and the shower curtain was in taters all across the top. The whole bathroom needed refurbished. A bigger tv also would be ok.
close to walking path
Great location. Very friendly staff.
Could hear other people talking or flushing the toilet in other rooms
Close to the renaissance festival
There were three descent staff people there. The head of maintenance and a couple of the night desk people. Everything else minimally was lacking all the way up to extremely unacceptable.
Staff ranged from indifferent to rude. Desk people were ignorant of policy. Already paid 2 nights They made a mistake on charging my credit card and evicted us because I couldn't drive 35 miles in 15 minutes during rush hour to present my card again.
Attached malt shop was nice.
Lots of noise, everywhere smelled like smoke, difficult to get to because no signs on how to get there/can't cross the median. The day desk staff was rude and didn't know what they were doing. Turned into a huge mess. No response from corporate.
Breakfast is great. Probably the best I have ever had at all the similar motels.
Room is shabby for a hotel at similar star rating.air conditioner was really loud and hardly kept the temperature at the comfortable level. Location is also not so convenient if your major activities are in the twin city.
that is what close to our destination
first off I didnt like the fact that the room and whole floor smelled like cigarette smoke. We had a noisy air condition that the vent kept falling off and was filthy, no large bath towels or coffee cups. also no blanket to use on sofa hide a bed.
Not enough pillows
broken door handles in our rooms bathroom, no sound barrier, overcrowded breakfast lounge, no fresh fruit, hottub was out of order
Plenty of Parking, convenience location, setting area upstairs, next door restaurant, close by WallGreen, nice walk outside. Plenty of light in the room.
Mixed up at the check in. Not enough soap or towels, no coffee maker in the room, television in the bedroom did not work with the remote. Water pressure in the shower is extremely weak!
Nice breakfast area with outdoor seating. They had a great TV channel selection. There is a great Malt shop attached to hotel.
My room wasn't ready until almost 7pm and the front desk didn't seem in any hurry to get me in as well as a line of other guests. I arrived at 4 and asked them just to check me in and I'd hang out by pool, but they said they couldn't.
nice hotel quiet area, had a good breakfast not as many variety as other hotels I had been to but not bad
thermostat on air seemed to fluctuate as it was to warm and turn it down then it got to cold but not a big problem
easy to get to
It was dirty I don't know if they even changed the sheets they appeared to be wrinkled before we slept on them. there was hair in the sink, on the floor and on the toilet. There was also sugar or salt on the counter. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN!
Location was wonderful. Complimentary underground parking is a great perk. Nice pool, game room, exercise room and breakfast included...a great value.
Loud guests coming in very late but that's not really the hotel's fault.
The staff was very good
good location, wonderful breakfast , beautiful building and patio area. employees were helpful and friendly. over all it was a very pleasant stay.
the walls were a little thin We could hear a cat and a dog off and on throughout the night.
Breakfast options were decent. Hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows were awful. Jets in the hot tub didn't work, and the carpet in our room was disgustingly sticky.
We could get in a little earlier than quoted.
The hot tub jets were not working.
The parking garage was a neat idea, but not aesthetically pleasing.
GPS put the location across the street, making it difficult to navigate. My room phone didnt work. The pool was closed. The breakfast wasn't tasty. Above all, my shower was only lukewarm. I tried different techniques, but NO HOT WATER.
It was a good value at $---- per night. If I had paid the regular rate of $--- I would not have felt that way. It is a hotel that has seen its best days. The carpets woodwork and walls are trying starting to show wear and tear.
No one would expect to find ants in Minnesota in March! They definitely need to have an exterminator come in. There were tons of ants in the swimming pool area.
The breakfast was great and in all hotel was not busy.
The hot tub was not working, when we asked the staff he said it should be, then after looking he said oh well i guess it does not work. The pool area had a huge ant problem.
We have stayed at this facility many times, Always treated well
The swimming pool area smelled strongly of chlorine
The room was very nice, with a kitchen sink, stove, and full size fridge! There is a malt shop underneath the hotel that has great food.
The location in the town, the 'walk-in' shower, the two king-size beds.
Definitely. The staff were unprofessional (they didn't know how to handle our prepaid reservation), the room didn't have a remote for the TV, nor a spindle for the toilet paper. The breakfast in the AM was barely a one-star breakfast--scrambled eggs poor.
