Wonderful experience; convenient location; received excellent customer service from Sabria and her co-workers; everyone was friendly and professional; suv was clean and ready to go; process was simple and efficient.

I didn’t get the type vehicle I requested. The one we requested needed an oil change. We struggle getting in and out of the van with a few of us hurting ourselves in the process. I did not enjoy the experience at all.

Pros:

Drop off was easy.

Cons:

The little economy car I received was uncomfortable. But the biggest complaint I have is that it was booked at the wrong location. I asked for airport pickup. They did find me a car, but charged me almost double. Very unhappy.

Pros:

We thought we had booked at TPA, but actually had booked 7 miles away. We were not upset until the TPA desk told us there were no cars at that location and we needed to book one from him at $500 more. We called the Enterprise help desk and they were no help. We finally got around the automated phone system and spoke with our pickup location. They said they had cars coming in and they would guarantee a vehicle if we could get there by 5 pm. We easily ubered over and the workers there were awesome.

Cons:

Customer service and a TEAM approach within your franchise. The airport clearly was trying to bait and switch not help in any way. The car terribly smelled of smoke.

The car was filthy/dirty. The line was big to get the keys so I didn't want to go back and wait another 40mins to tell them to exchange the car. Bare minimum a rental car should be ran through a car wash and vacuumed before giving it to the next renter. Also, I rented a Passat like car and got a minivan which is away bigger than I needed and consumes more gas. Not a good experience.

Nice, friendly employees. Car was not washed and ready to go. Needed to wait more than 30 minutes for the car. When the car was delivered to me, it was still dirty on the outside. Inside was very clean.

Avis was closed when I arrived to pick up my rental. They didn't contact or notify me. I was left stranded without a car.

There was no waiting around , car was ready , same with return , dropped it off got paperwork read over, both person at the counter were helpful answered all my questions , what could had been better was the car itself , not Avis fault , just the choice I picked

The attendant at your 4644 W Gandy BlvdSuite 2, Tampa, FL location was unpleasant and the car was dirty. It had a noise from the AC. She said it was the only car they had. Our only option was to drive back to the airport and swap it. She was very “matter of fact” about it. It would be nice to at least get compensated for our Lyft and the two hours we lost changing the car. The people at the airport were great and the new car much nicer. Is W Gandy Blvd a knock-off location?

Wasted $86 for Ubers driving from different locations because they were out of cars and customer service kept making reservations at sold out stores. I never got a car.

Traveled to stated rental address and it was abandoned. Traveled to another Budget location and it was abandoned as well. Called Budget 800 number who said their website was not updated and to travel to Tampa Airport - 1 hour away. I said I am done and disgusted with Budget and to cancel my reservation. The Budget Operator said they cannot cancel on this line but for me to call another 800 number - NO THANKS - I'M DONE WITH BUDGET>

The vehicle was only 1/4 full of gas. I had to go back inside to agent at pickup to note this ((it should have been noted to me !!!)). At drop off I told this to person checking in the vehicle, I filled with gas and 1/2 remained, BUT I was still charged for gas. Unacceptable.

Nothing, I was told I couldn't have the rental because my credit score wasn't high enough to use my debit card and my credit card didn't have a free $453 for the rental. I was never greeted kindly, I was never told anything about the fees or cost both my credit card and my debit card were run, when I got upset I was told to move out the qay with the other lady, experiencing the same issues so she could help the other people.

The person who checked me out told me I had fuel forgiveness but I got charged $70 for bringing it back with 3/4 of a tank and Hertz says they made no notes so it stands and the location is impossible to get a person on the phone to discuss.

There were a number of electrical issues with the car, and they "upgraded" me to a much larger, far less fuel efficient car without giving me any option. The sensor on the blind spot was faulty and dinged off and on across my 22 hour drive, and the audio controls also had issues. The stereo would randomly jump or drop significantly in volume, and the sensor for the trunk was also faulty, frequently saying the trunk was open when it was not, and would come on randomly while driving.

Our flight in was canceled, causing us to delay pickup by two days. Hertz wanted to charge and additional $200 to change our pickup to two days later (with the same return date). We opted to just cancel our reservation, which resulted in a $100 cancellation fee. Absolutely absurd.
