Cons:
Reserved a standard size car. When I arrived (3rd in line with only one person working) there was only a compact left. I was on a schedule so I had no choice but to take it. I was told the total charge would be less due to it being a different size vehicle. I took the (uncleaned) car and got ready for my trip, running a few local errands beforehand. The check engine light then came on in the vehicle. I took it back to the rental agency and was told it was the O2 sensor. I didn't have time to wait for another vehicle to be returned or go to another location for one. I basically was told to take my chances or wait for another vehicle, which again I couldn't do. The sensor was reset & I was informed I could call the 800 number for an exchange vehicle if it came back on while I was on my trip. The sensor came back on 3 days later when I was driving home. I stopped for some gas and the car wouldn't start. It took 4 tries and it finally came on. When I finally got back in the area I stopped to fill the gas tank the rest of the way before returning the vehicle. Unfortunately this meant I had to turn the car off. Again, the car would not start. Took me 6 tries to finally get it running. When I arrived at the rental location the door was locked. A girl came & unlocked it and took the keys. I explained to her what happened with the car and that I was also told that someone would be in the office when I dropped the car back off around 1:00. She told me that they closed at noon. Days later when I checked my bank statement I had been charged for the standard size, which had not been available for me, and also charged for an extra days rental, after I had been told I could return around 1:00 on a Sunday. Luckily I was able to call the 800 number and get all of this resolved (they were very helpful), but overall it was not a good experience. This is the 2nd time I've had issues with this location. I rented a mid size suv for a trip. They gave me a Dodge Journey that was new and really nice however we went to Florida and the air conditioning was awful. Idk if it wasn’t charged or what but it made the trip uncomfortable.Avis

Drop off in Seattle was extremely easy and fast. The car (Kia Soul) was very comfortable, spacious, and drove well.Cons:
Pick up in Pittsburgh took longer than expected as the car could not be located initially. Also, I was under the impression that tolls were included, but found out while going through a toll that that was not the case and the check in person did not let me know that.6.8 Okay

Pros:
I had apparently made a mistake and rented from the wrong location. I thought I was picking up from Pittsburgh International Airport, but I wasn't. The lady at the avis counter at the airport, was not the friendliest or most helpful, but but I chatted with someone online he at least kinda helped. Once we finally got to the place we needed to be (45 minutes away) the lady at the Mount Pleasant Avis was great. Very friendly, able to help me switch my drop off location, and sent me on my way, after a long process of trying to get to the correct spot.Cons:
The rental car, we ended with a a Toyota 4 runner, which was great, it was an upgrade to what we were getting, because they had nothing else available. The only thing that was terrible about the rental car itself, the smell of cigarette smoke, it was horrible. I went and bought airfresheners to try and help the smell. Im sure there are policies of not smoking in the cars, if there is not, probably should be. If people are still smoking in them, maybe the airing out process or something needs to be longer or something.2.0 Poor

I requested an SUV a week in advance because I needed the space inside the vehicle to transport two bicycles. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the girl at the desk told me she didn't have an SUV, that I could have a sedan. There was no attempt to call me in advance to inform me of the situation, and she had an "it's somebody else's fault attitude. There was an SUV available at a location closer to my home, and had I received a call, I could have gone there.
