Rented a 12 passenger van. At pickup, I was told I had to purchase supplemental insurance, since it was a commercial vehicle. Also, the van was not very clean when we picked it up.9.6 Wonderful

The vehicle had a sticker on the door saying it was cleaned. A baby sock was found in the back hatch area, which should have been easily found if cleaned. The worst part was a strong odor coming from the driver side back seat. Terrible smell, I drove straight from NY to Fl. Staff members. Girl that had to downgrade me from an SUV to a full size vehicle was just doing her job.Cons:
Don't use a debit card unless you only want a maximum of a full size car. I requested an SUV because I had to travel and the weather got pretty bad. I had to downgrade to the Maxima and the handling was terrible. I understand there's rules but my debit card has more cash on it than most credit cards. They could have done a larger deposit or something to secure the vehicle I requested. I needed the vehicle so I couldn't cancel or change things.2.8 Poor

Being able to drop off the rental after hours was a great help.Cons:
We had rented a cargo van about 10 days earlier from the same location and the total experience was excellent. This time it was somewhat disorganized. This was partly due to having a brand new employee process our rental. He was very polite and very nervous - especially when things didn't go as he'd expected. He will be fine with experience. Assistance from management wasn't particularly good, but I don't know why that was the case. But the pick up process was not as smooth as it was previously. It took longer than I'd expected based on prior experience.10.0 Wonderful

The staff was great - very accommodating. The cargo van was returned to them with a half-tank of gas. They noted that and advised me to just be sure I returned it with a half-tank of gas (it was 3/4 full when I dropped it off). I had to wait a few minutes for them to clean and sanitize it because I arrived early. Drop off was super easy.Cons:
The location is at a busy intersection and getting in and out of the lot isn't easy. Small parking lot is not the easiest to navigate. One mirror (passenger side) wasn't able to be adjusted - worked okay for me, but made it difficult for the other driver who is considerably taller than me. But the whole process was very easy.Avis
