I was told this van would have no issues driving into Canada. When I picked it up, they told me I would be turned around at the border because it wasn't recognied as a "true vehicle". I called twice over the past month to confirm this would work and both times they said yes. Ended getting a different van from a different company with no issues.8.0 Very good

I booked the car 4 or 5 hours before pick up and was never given any notice that they may not have a vehicle to rent. Then I had to drive across town in rush hour traffic to try to get to another hertz before they closed. I made it with only 2 minutes to spare.2.0 Poor

Cons:
The car I rented smelled very strongly of cigarettes and still had ashes in it. I called Hertz to inform them of this, and the women working was aware of the cigarette smell. I'm not sure why we were given this car if they were aware of the smell. The women told me she'd give me a discount. My card was charged the full amount with no discount, and when I called Hertz back to tell them this she told me they'd call back in four days when the manager was back from vacation. I still have not received a discount or a call back. I also tried to call Hertz customer service and basically got transferred from different departments because they said they couldn't do anything. I will not be using Hertz again.8.0 Very good
