Excellent customer service, attention, and respect at this Main Street location. I dealt with the Dundas location last year, and was totally turned off by the lack of customer service and blatant disrespect at drop off. This Main Street location is well staffed with smiles all the way around.

Pros:

The vehicle I wanted was unavailable. So, they upgraded me at no extra charge. Also, the pick up and drop off were quick and easy. Finally, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Hamilton needs reliable access to more pick-up trucks.

the car was nice and peppy with better than i would have imajined gas mileage. they were also cheaper than enterprise and thrifty whom i have also recently rented from. two thumbs up. great staff aswell.

Gas meter read less then line when took car out wanted to charge us.except it was not parked in same spot we took it from which was with tank at back sloped down.then we parked with tank raised so represented as lower.eventhough when we filled it up the gas actually spat overflow out.they didn't seem to want to believe us.so if renting make sure you park in same spot you took it from to allow for major Dios in their parking lot grades.to get an dven read.as we say apples for apples.

I didn't get a rental because they didn't have any ready. I was told asked to come back/I'd receive a call in about an hour. No call, returned to the store to find the door locked. Left for another 20 minutes to come back to the door still locked and about 5 other customers waiting. I decided to walk down to the Enterprise location down the street and was lucky to get a rental and was in and out in 10 minutes -- always a great experience with Enterprise. I tried giving a budget a chance and I won't be using them again.

The money has not been returned to me. I returned the car Tuesday 26 September, a day early. I was promised that by 3 working days I would have the excess around $200.00Can + the rental for returning the car early back on my card. But the moneyhas not been returned and I am leaving Canada nlw. So how can I get my Mkney back?

Pros:

Vehicle was really clean when we picked up and the only rep that worked at the hertz desk in the building was nice.

Cons:

When we first showed up to pick up our reserved car they didn't have a vehicle. The vehicle they ended up giving us we had to return 2 days later to pick up our reserved car.
