Friendly and easy to work with in regards to rental. SUV had a few minor issue's: idling at traffic light it was jumpy & had to shut off vehicle a few times, turn it back on to shift gears!

I paid, had a confirmation number my credit card was charged but the agency had no cars for me.

Ease of pickup and return, employees all very nice

Cons:

Booked a full size car which they didn't have available. They upgraded to Ford Escape which was comfortable but not what I ordered.

Very basic SUV rental

Cons:

Santa Fe had a lot of miles and did not ride well at all. the seats were uncomfortable and drove more like a truck. Was not pleasant to be in for long periods of time. The main hertz Office on Hwy 17 Mt Pleasant the associates were very unhelpful and did not seem to care. When I expressed interest in what type of vehicle I may be getting. They would not let me put in a preference and did not even attempt to help in anyway. They do not know anything about good customer service and to keep clients. The gentleman at the Brickyard location was very helpful when I returned it. That did leave a better impression on me.

Terrible. Waited in line at desk, paid and headed to garage. Then waited over an hour for a vehicle. No cars and not nice staff.

Car was ready on time. Lots of cat hair, no damage report (had to show pics of preexisting damage to prevent charge), but worst was at no time were we informed that the drop off location did not have an after hours return thus causing massive changes to our trip.

Pickup person was indifferent about being there. The big issue is no where in the reservation process (booking, confirmation, pickup, etc.) was I informed that AVIS does NOT allow after hours drop off so had to change a lot of trip stuff after that since I showed up at the drop off location thinking I could just drop off the car like at Hertz, etc. but noooo. Had to book a hotel, rearrange travel, etc. because of this. I would simply have booked with another agency that allowed after hours instead of putting a major issue into our trip.

Made a reservation on line. Reservation confirmed that the car I wanted was available. The next morning after having walked to office I received a phone call, while waiting at office, that there where no cars of the class confirmed at that location. Was told on phone that another office nearby had the class car I was seeking, I called the location and was told they didn’t have the car. Was told the reservation line couldn’t call the local desks directly for me to actually confirm inventory, that I had to. Couldn’t give me a local number unless I received it through confirmed reservation. Your process sucks.

Gary, at the office, was professional, friendly and efficient. I returned using this location. The car was comfortable enough for a one day rental. There was a fast food bag in the car.

The line for Budget was tens of people long with only one person working the counter and also answering calls. It would have taken hours. We finally gave up and paid more to get a car from Alamo where there was no line.
