Cons:
The pick was scheduled for noon. We pulled up at 12:05 and saw the manager in the parking lot as he was departing for the day. They closed at noon and he said that we were late so they were closed. Why would we be permitted to schedule a noon pickup from a place that closed at noon???2.0 Poor

They simply didn't honor my reservation because I didn't look like them. It was a busy day (just before new year) and they decided to keep their car for their "own people". Luckily I left before they beat me up.Avis

I chose a 9 dollars per day for the insurance from the website . When I picked car up they charged me 24 dollars per day for the insurance and I told them I chose a 9 dollars per day for the insurance and they said we don't find that so I had to pay 24 dollars per day. I was scheduled to pick up the rental at the Marvin D. Love Freeway location on Friday afternoon. I had flown into Dallas that day and needed to be at an event by 3:00. When I arrived at the rental location around 2:00, I was told that they could not give me my car because their "system was down." I was told that I could get a car at the downtown location, but going there was not possible because of my event. I asked about having a car delivered to me but that was not possible. I had to rely on a friend and Uber until I was able to pick up the car on Saturday morning. My rate was adjusted to account for the day I did not have the car.6.0 Okay

We rented a car from Hertz @ love field in Dallas from Oct 19, 2016 until Nov 3, 2016. 'we did not notice until we were over 100 miles away that the temporary tag in the back window had expired Sep 22, 2016. So we were driving for 14 days with expired tags6.8 Okay

The car was great on gas and drove like a champ from Dallas Texas all the way to Pittsburgh, Pa.Cons:
When I went to pick up the car, although I booked a mid size 2 weeks in advance, the only car available was a compact car for me to use and it had not been washed, vacuumed or Windows cleaned. I had to stop at a gas station to clean the front windshield. I was informed that I couldn't even upgrade because all the other cars available all needed oil changes. The compact was the only option I was given. The person did however lower my rate.4.0 Mediocre

When I arrived at the location they did not have a car for me. the agent told me that she did not have a contact number for me so could not call to notify me. A car was finally located however it was not the size/type car that I rented. I called later to try to change the drop off location and was told that I was unable to change the location as it was a pre-paid rental.
