When I called Enterprise no car was available and I was put on waiting list. I live in a tourist area and you might have thought a car was avail. but on busy weekend that wasn't so. Very disappointing! Rent from them frequently by directly phoning no problem. Won't bother using Kayak in future.Cons:

My flight was delayed and when I got to Monterey they were closed. They closed at 7:00 pm. Then the next morning they didn’t have the car. I would not suggest renting from a place not at the airport.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
I had booked with this location to save some money (as airport car rental locations usually charge more). When I arrived at Monterey airport, I came by the Hertz counter at the baggage claim and asked about a shuttle to the Hertz location where I had placed my booking. I realized very quickly that the staff member did not have the slightest interest in being helpful once I told her that I had booked with the Seaside location. She said I should hail a cab or call them to find out. I thought, "geez, people, come on, are you the same company or not?" So I called the Seaside rental location and a driver picked us up shortly after. They also dropped us off at the airport at the end of our vacation, and the driver initially refused to take my tip. Great service, highly recommended.Cons:
