I followed the directions in the message sent to my iPhone calendar from budget or kayak, I don’t know exactly where it came from but it directed me to return the car between 12 and 1 on September 10. So I pull up at 12:30 on September 9 trying to save a days fees which the girl in Leesburg told me was not going to happen. She told me to bring it back at the same time the next day.so I go rolling in at 12:30 on the 10th, the guy there had been there on the 9th but the nice girl wasn’t there. He didn’t seem to care for me too much, he took the keys moved the vehicle came back in and took my paperwork closed out the rental and then said you’re late so I’ve added 57.00 dollars to your bill. After some brief dialogue I realized I was getting nowhere with him so I left5.6 Fair

Had to go thr next morning and the car was not there, so spent almost 20 minutes waiting for car to arrive. Staff not very professional either. The car smelled of smoke when we got it, which really stood out since we aren't smokers. Other than that, vehicle was very clean. We personally bought a Maguires odor bomb and set it off on the car and that got rid of the smoke smell. Overall very happy with the rental.2.0 Poor

When I booked the car I did a one way from Leesburg to Tallahassee Florida it’s funny how that’s 250 miles but only 150 miles came with the car rental and then the additional hundred miles was $.29 a month old totally dirty for them not to give you enough miles to even get to where you’re going I did not know that Avis is no longer doing unlimited miles on a one-way trip anyway totally dissatisfied I will choose other car rental places in the future.8.0 Very good

I called the day before and put a reservation in online. I had a family emergency in Alabama and needed to get there as soon as possible. I called before setting the reservation to see if they excepted debit cards they stated yes. The next day I spent 30 dollars on a taxi to get there. When I arrived, I had to wait for 30 more minutes to be told that my credit score was not high enough to rent a car from them. One hundred sixty dollars later, I rented from another company. I will never recommend them to anyone else who has an emergency.4.0 Mediocre

Car as fine but they required my car insurance policy number, I don't carry my card when I'm on vacation. They wanted me to call my insurance but that is the time consuming, no one i know carries their home car insurance card with them on vacation so I felt forced to take theirs and also the extra driver chargeCons:

The price wasn't bad. The drop of guy was very nice. He even asked about the transmission issues. He made it seem easy.Cons:
The car seemed to have transmission issues. It would sometimes quit responding to the gas pedal or have difficulty shifting to the next gear and it's an automatic. It smelled like old tacos. It kept trying to call 911 from the car's system. I wish they had shown me how to use some of the features or asked me if I knew how to do simple things like open the trunk, connect my phone to the hands free system, where the lights and wind shield wipers buttons were. The guy who got me the car didn't know how to run my card or any of the procedures. So my card was declined 3 times before he figured out he didn't enter some information.
