We rented a Kia Soul because it was relatively inexpensive and we didn’t need a large car. To my delight, the car was roomy and comfortable and had great features. At pickup, the sales clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. At drop off, the clerk was efficient and very helpful. She went out of her way to find a luggage trolley for us—certainly above and beyond her duties. All in all, a very positive rental experience.

The employees working at this facility were extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. The car itself was not in good mechanical condition. The engine light was on, passenger side of the headlights were out and the brakes were squeaky. The best part of the rental was the employees service.

Drop off was great. Pickup was nightmare. Lady was horrible. Treated us like criminals. Called me a liar. Made me wait an hour. Threatened to cancel rental. Can’t understand normal things woman. Put me 2 hours behind on special trip with my youngest son. Never rent budget again.

the vehicle was "dirty" from the previous users when we picked it up. the gentleman at the counter even apologized to us bcuz the car was dirty. I did not know that we would be charged a "fine" if we returned the car dirty...I would have certainly "cleaned" the car before drop-off if I had realized that this was the policy (goodness knows, I cleaned up the previous users trash!!!). I have rented from MANY other car rental services & I have never had to clean the car before drop-off nor was there a fine if I did not do so. The price on the vehicle was very good, but I will have 2nd thoughts about ever renting from budget again because of the misunderstanding about the condition of the car's cleanliness! Tell me UP FRONT & I will obey the rules....we were told about returning the car on time, or there would be a fine; we were told about having a full tank of gas, or be charged an absurd rate...but we were never told about the car having to be spotless or we would be fined. Tell me UP FRONT what your FEES are!

They closed before we got there, we weren't made aware they closed at noon! We got there about 12:10 and were shocked to find them closed! Our rental was already paid for. It caused a huge inconvenience to our trip and your customer service was not willing to help at all!

This was my 1st time renting From Hertz. When I arrived to pick up my rental they didn't have the SUV I had rented. Brett the agent who tried his best to find another rental close by trying to avoid a pickup at TF Green Airport. That's where I picked up at 5:30 rush hour!

Cons:

The agents could have been better prepared a SUV should have been there. I had a fully paid reservation and had to drive an hour to airport for pickup. Drop off went smooth. Very apologetic.

Staff were extremely friendly and very flexible. I called a day ahead and an hour before my pick up to inform them I'll be late. They received my message warmly and told me it was OK. I came at the time I told them I was going to arrive and received my car rental fast and easy. Dropping off my car was also a piece of cake. Another thing I liked about this place is the price. I live in Providence, RI. I didn't mind the extra 20-25 min drive to North Attleboro for the rental because its cheaper during the holidays than it is to rent a car from the airport.

What I don't like is the small selection of cars.
