I places my order a month in advanced. A couple of days before my rental pickup day, when they reached out to ensure I was still wanting the vehicle, I asked if they had one available and they said they just saw the order and were barely starting to look for it. Then 2 hours before my rental pickup, I received a call stating that they weren’t able to locate one, but they “wanted to give me enough time to figure out other plans”. With 2 HOURS. I’m absolutely unsatisfied with this business. I placed my order a MONTH prior to ensure this wouldn’t happen. Because of this, my team of 12 people were left without any means of transportation for a huge trip we had planned. Nothing was available that soon, we were forced to take 3 of our own vehicles which lead to MY car getting broken into, a window completely smashed in and a bunch of damage PLUS quite a few things stolen. I will never be using this rental company again, not recommending them.

Cons:

Went to pick up the car to find out there were no cars available. Spent over $40 in Lyft just to end up careless for a 5day trip we planned months ago. Complete waste of time. The staff was rude and didn’t care.

The car was nice, the clerk was friendly.

Cons:

Scheduled online. When I arrived, there were no cars available, and I had to wait approximately an hour for a car. The car was clean on the outside, but the inside had some spills that weren't wiped up and smelled like marijuana. No after hours drop off instructions were provided, closed at 6:00.

I left my truck and it was broken into on hertz property. And now 2 weeks later, I'm being charged 62$ multiple times multiple days. I bought the insurance, I filled up the tank, i dropped off on time and filled out paperwork as asked. Never got a call or email about any new charges or reason why there would be, but 2 weeks later... I'm being charged without any notice multiple times

We made a reservation months ahead because four of us were taking a trip out of town. When we arrived to pick up the car, the Nissan quest/minivan we had reserved was nowhere to be seen. We were informed that our "choice" was a Dodge journey or nothing!! It's a huge difference to go from a car that seats five people and seven bags, to one that seats four people and three bags. When asked if there would be a discount due to the fact that this car was several classes below what we had reserved and PAID FOR IN ADVANCE, we were told no. The whole interaction put a really bad taste in my mouth. I've been a hertz gold club member many times in my life, but my loyalties will go elsewhere after this situation. Such a shame.

Horrible to say the least! We went thru you to book a vehicle a week in advance to show up the day of the booking to have not one vehicle available. I called Hertz and you all to find not one person helpful or accommodating to help me. I was left with out a rental I needed. All I was told was “no worries you will be refunded”and both parties sending me back and fourth to each other. Very disappointed and leaves me never trusting both parties again!

Nothing. Everything about this experience has been the worst I’ve ever encountered.

Cons:

My rental car was given away with no alternatives, I had to pay double to reserve one elsewhere, I then am over charged in addition to being accused of having the vehicle involved in an accident.

When I got there their systems were shut down I never ended up getting a car! I had to go with someone else for twice the price! After the fact that I got a hotel room and came back the next day TRY to get a car.

I purchased a one way rental (compact) and received a dated Nissan Frontier light truck. It costed me more than expected in gas. Plus, it did not have a usb input for charging. Disappointed.
