The car pick-up at Eugene Municipal Airport (EUG) was very friendly. Especially, the young lady (Amber) at the Dollar Rent Counter at the airport was very helpful. She upgraded our car on our request with reasonable additional charge. This change made our long journey from Eugene, OR to Los Angeles, CA very comfortable.Cons:
Ref: Rental Record # 596198282; Vehicle: 2019 Chevrolet IMPALA License: CA 8JBG642 Car has in-built GPS, which was quite handy to go to different locations. But for a number new locations it didn't work as it was not updated. For example, it could not navigate us to some new locations in Folsom, CA. So we used our cellphone to drive to those locations. (GPS needs to be updated) The car drop-off was at LAX airport. We drop the car at the shown location. But it was difficult to locate the Dollar drop-off as there was no clear sign and we were in hurry to do it because the drop-off location was not in the airport. Shuttle takes the passenger from that location to the airport. We could see the Hetz sign only. However, on advised of the present staff we park the car at a location and left the car key inside the car as told. As per agreement, before handing over the car there, we filled the tank completely with the gas. The tank was full. (We wish if we could have some kind of written receipt for it. That the staff has taken the car in the same condition as it was handed to us. Gas tank is full, and we owe nothing.)Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Did not have the vehicle (pickup truck) I had reserved or any other vehicle options. Should not have accepted reservation if can't fulfill it. Had to pay for a Lyft ride home since I came away without a vehicle.7.2 Good

There was an issue when I dropped off the car in Helena. I will say that the empolyee, Gwen, who helped me from Albany was VERY helpful. She resolved the issue. I feel that the employee in Helena was also very kind and was just trying to do his job. The situation did cause me some stress, though.8.4 Very good

Cons:
The rental company was closed when we dropped the car off and noticed that there was a sign posted that said we are liable for the car until the employees process the car back in. I’m not sure I agree with that statement. If I return the car to your lot I damaged and then someone else hits it returning another vehicle or it gets broken into, I should not be liable for those damages. Also, who’s to say that I’m not going to be charged for an additional day or hours because nobody is there to accept the keys?6.0 Okay

I got a phone call saying that they were changing the hours for my pick up location and that I could get my vehicle 2 hours later than planned. I would have missed my flight. When I called customer service to see what options I had, the guy said none!!!! He wasn't apologetic. Didn't try to help in any way. I will NEVER use Avis again.10.0 Wonderful

The young lady staffer couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. She thoughtfully sprayed the counter with Lysol prior to my approaching it, provided details about cleaning of my car and number of days since last rented...her caring attitude, friendliness and information were very reassuring. I must state that my experience with enterprise at the end of my flight was much the opposite, so she really held a positive memory for me.Cons:

First, Sheree the manager in Corvallis was great. She was friendly and knew her job! She gave us a choice of cars when we got there before our pick up time. We went with the car we'd reserved but it was nice to have a choice.Budget

This was a one way rental from Corvallis to Portland OR. Car smelled smokey. We were not told Budget had no drop off at PDX so time was wasted going to the rental car garage, then exiting and finding the off site return. Agent in Corvallis was very helpful, reopening the office when we arrived a little late.2.0 Poor

They said our kayak reservation didn't mean anything and they had given our car away and didn't have anything else to rent us. We were trapped without a ride or a car and had to walk around to other rental companies close by to try and find a car. The sales lady was rude and didn't seem to give any cares about us being stranded. Don't rent here or I guess on kayak since it doesn't mean anything to the rental companies.2.0 Poor

I liked nothing about the Corvallis Oregon budget rental.Cons:
The representative there, Nick, was passive aggressive and didn't acknowledge my presence. He was reluctant to help me and the old man that was waiting for Nick to finish what he was doing. In fact the old man had to approach Nick when he was clearly just stalling in order for him to be served. I've never experienced such passive aggressive behavior, and I've lived in the Pacific northwest for eight years. The lobby was bare and uninviting. It was plain ugly. I would easily pay the little bit extra to go to enterprise Down the road if I were to do it again. I hated my experience with them. I was so happy to check into Boise where the man was friendly and actually wanted to help.9.6 Wonderful
