They charge you an extra $350.00 to rent the car and also limit you to only a 150 per day. Even though it was reserved at one price and unlimited miles. They change your reservation and now you are stuck unless you decide to leave. They also take the spare tire out their cars so you would take their insurance. Avoid at all cost. Pay the extra money so you can get better service.4.8 Mediocre

Cons:
If you are a local renter,go someplace else and rent. These people say unlimited miles, unless you live in the state,then you are only allowed 150 free miles per day. They also want a $350.00 deposit. I guess they want to insure that they already have your money if you go over 150 miles per day. The rate per mile they charge after 150 miles is $0.55 . That could add up to some serious dollar amounts really quickly.9.6 Wonderful

Cons:
The online reservation clearly stated unlimited miles. But when I'm standing at the reservation desk after I'm already at the point of no return I'm informed I am limited to a total of 300 miles, with each mile afterwards at $0.55 per mile. The whole purpose of the rental was for a trip that far exceeded the allowable mileage bringing my total out of pocket expense nearly four times the advertised rental rate. Even after I showed the manager my reservation and what was advertised he informed me it was a private company and that's their policy and if I didn't like It go somewhere else. Unfortunately I was stuck with no ride and no time to spare. I will not be using this service ever again.Easirent

Nothing, this was a terrible experience. By far the worst car rental I’ve ever had.Cons:
Booked a rental to be picked up on Fernandina Beach. Was sent a confirmation with a Fernandina Beach pickup location. When I got there, there was no pickup available , and I was told I needed to go to Jacksonville to pick up my car, at a completely different location. Was treated very rudely, told that the mixup was my fault, because I booked it online. Three hours and a $50 cab ride later, I finally got a car. Treated rudely when I arrived in jaxonville to pick up my car, told I could have picked it up in fernandina, basically that this was my mix up not theirs. Will never rent from hertz again.8.8 Very good

Friendly staff, comfort of vehicle was great. Paid online so no $ to deal with at pickup. Allowed us to return vehicle to location 3 miles from our home.Didn't buy extra insurance, 20 miles from home, rock from road cracked windshield. Charged us $150 for windshield replacement(could have been much worse).Cons:
Pickup location was less than ideal ,no computer, had to hand write contract. Hertz has location 3 miles from our home, yet the rental was $100 less at our pickup location 25 miles away.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
We ended up having a screw in our tire. The lady on the phone was wonderful. She advised us to go to the enterprise car rental in Brunswick Georgia. The workers there were amazing. They had us to the tire place in minutes. The tire place changed the tire for us after enterprise guy talked to him. All took under an hour. Very impressive!😊Car rental locations in or near Yulee
