Hotel Employee at the front desk was very helpful.
Bathroom needed to be repaired the door handle fell off and all the caulking was cracked around the floor. The carpet had stains, wall and ceilings where cracked or stained and mattresses where wore out. Noisy highway outside.
Great service at the front desk
The rooms could use a little updating for the price. Nice though.
Staff friendliness and helpfulness. Bright and maintained lobby. Presence of a grill and bar for our late night needs to visit and relax. Seating areas in the larger lobby for more private conversations.
Bathroom door would not stay open, but front desk staff helpfully gave us a doorstop.Bath towels stored inside the shower, too high to reach without putting myself in danger standing on top of the tub. Printed signs on bed, sink counter, nightstand.
there were many kids running around the halls late at night. Hotel staff let this go on for more than an hour after they were notified of the issue. Also, smoke detector kept going off because of a corroded battery. sleepless night. not happy.
Excellent friendly staff
Only king bed with small sofa sleeper.
fire alarm went off about 12:40 at night
The handicapped rooms needs some updating as we had to put a towel in the tub so we wouldn't fall.also not enough space to put toiletries.
Nice area, good location, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, clean.
Mattress not very comfortable.
Room clean and comfortable, free internet, Keurig coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.
Pool and hot tub were not as warm as would have preferred. Too much chlorine in hot tub, burned eyes.
I liked that it was very clean. The room has all of the standard amenities.
The rooms have double beds instead of queen. Tough with 3-4 people.
The staff was incredibly hospitable, very welcoming and what appeared to be genuine. The lobby was nice
However, the facility had a very odd smell. This particular facility offered a breakfast buffet for $9.95. I have stayed at other locations that offered complementary continental breakfast. Rooms were out dated - did not give the same appearance
Tje employees were friendly and efficient.
The room was scruffy and felt old. The curtains in the room didn't close, allowing light from the paeking lot security lamp to shine directly into my room all night.
The lobby was nice, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The rooms were very dated and unappealing, and the beds were very uncomfortable. The pool was also extremely small.
Breakfast should have been included
Great location-close to a shopping area, easy highway access
Fire alarm went off several times from 10:45-12:15, interrupting much needed sleep on a busy trip. Employee noted no smoke, but was unable to turn off alarm. Sat the lobby for half an hour with an exhausted toddler. No comp offered & very little sleep.
Staff was very friendly.
The fire alarms kept going off. Fire dept. came and left and they still kept going off. Didn't get much sleep.
Nice rooms and beds.
First night... Pee on the toilet seat. Second night, toilet seat left up. Third night, they did okay. Also, my room didn't use the thermostat to regulate temperature. There was a window unit that had a four setting dial. Room always too hot or too cold.
Great location close to shopping and dinning.
The hot tub was closed due to repairs.
Location off highway.
Hotel wasn't as clean as I would have expected for the star rating.
The matters was horrible ... I couldn't sleep at all
The room and bathroom were big, but we had a handicap access room.
The sink area was way too small. All the cords on the hair dryer were in the way. The hair dryer wouldn't stay in the holder and fell on my glasses putting scratches on the lens. The highway noises were really bad/loud.
Location was great. Lots of great shopping venues and restaurants nearby.
The rooms were very old looking. The bathroom door would not stay open which we felt was somewhat of a hazard to small children. Curtains did not close all the way.
The lobby was beautiful and the staff was mostly friendly. Those were the only positive things.
Rooms were in need of updating, bedding is very old and drab. I wish I hadn't noticed the filthy bed skirt, it was dirty and stained; gross. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything.
their knock off versions of sleep # beds were HORRIBLE!we turned ours to SOFT and it still felt like concrete all night ling. The bed is one of the main things you remember about a hotel. because of this we will never stay there again!no sleep all night!
The decor in the lobby and public areas made you feel like the hotel was modern. The king size bed we had was very comfortable.
The hotel has some age on it. The rooms although they had modern features, tv, A/c and nice patterns, it all felt old and very wore. Its time for a remodel and freshening up.
Staff was very friendly
I didn't notice the 3rd set of blinds that would have blocked the parking lot lights shining in my room. They were way back behind the other curtains.
The mattress in our room was worn out, not supportive. Room has a wall thermostat, but took awhile to figure out that to adjust the room temp you had to go to the window unit to do so. Hotel starting to show its age/use.
I loved the frig and microwave in the hotel room. It allowed us to eat our leftover lunch for dinner!
There was blood on the wall in the bathroom (a very tiny spot) and the beds were absurdly hard.
great staff friendly
physical facility somewhat tired or budget quality
I hated everything about it.
The bed and pillows were the worst we had every experienced told front desk about it at checkout did not really care said would let them know...sign said if not happy refund your stay...no offer of that...will not go back or recommend
Nice Staff. Nice Location.
Lots of things!
Tiny pool and jacuzzi, crowded. Guests were very loud up and down halls and in rooms above. Bathroom lights outside of bathroom, ac unit noisey. Breakfast pricey, nothing offered complimentary except tea/coffee. No sitting area by lake.
I requested a quite room and we did have that request met.
Towels were not replaced: I had to call down. There was a storm and the window leaked water into the room. The coffee was not replaced. When I checked-in I asked if breakfast was included: the response was a snort and 'not at the reduce rate you got.'
This hotel is nice for the price we paid. There was no breakfast included. However, we were greeted that evening with fresh lemonade and chocolate chip cookies.
Price. That is all.
The front doors are small and are not automatic. Their luggage carts are too difficult to maneuver through the small doors so I dropped our camera and then and only then did the staff ask of I needed help. All the furniture was damaged and worn.
This is probably a nice hotel. Most people probably have decent experiences at this hotel. We did not have a good experience. We went to the hotel with our 11 y.o. daugnter and her friend. The management allowed our neighbor to throw a catered party for an entire junior hockey team and their parents in a junior suite. Then they ignored bags full of trash in the hall filled with Mexican food trash that smelled to high heaven till we personally visited the front desk. The night was filled with kids running the hallways, slamming doors and making a ton of noise into the early hours of the morning. This noise resumed at 6am. Our bathroom was gross. The ceiling was covered with mold and the dry wall was coming completely unaware at the drywall seams. If this were not enough, the pool had no towels, the bathroom off the lobby was totally gross. Though there is more I will stop here. Suffice to say I would recommend this property. Go to the Wildwood Inn a bit further away and have a first class experience for less money
I have stayed at another Hilton that buts this one to shame. I was expecting it to more updated and cleaner. The carpets in the halls were stained and they smelled. There is the bare necessities at this location. The restaurant and bar is in the same location. The pros at this location is security.
Like most of the Hilton Garden Inns this one was clean, well maintained / run and accommodating, downside, the breakfast buffet was $*, little too expensive for me, we (2 people) went to Bob Evens just down the rd and got a great breakfast served for that much.
I generally stay in downtown St Louis and commute to meetings in the Chesterfield area - no longer, the Hilton Garden is a superb business hotel and I've made the change for convenience and comfort.
This is a great hotel. Clean and friendly. Convenient location. Would stay here again next time I'm in the area.
Overall it was a very nice hotel. The staff was very courteous. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed having a refridgerator and microwave. It would be nice if they had doubles with Queen Size beds instead of the Full Size beds. I do think a continental breakfast included in the hotel package would be nice.
