Lovely staff, very clean and amazing location. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good experience in Chiang Mai. Spacious and comfortable room with a calm and relaxing spirit. Breakfast in the garden and different sitting spots in the garden. Very helpful staff to book tours and cooking classes. Large, spacious room. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. The People at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The room was big and the showers are clean. Good location, AC and clean. Friendly staff, laundry next door, cheap. Clean, big rooms in a great location! Staff very helpful and friendly. It is on a central old city lane so this is great as a location, things being a short walk away. Do use the temple grounds for relaxation or an escape meditation. The museums and weekend markets are close by. For those looking for bar experiences and foods this is near but not so close as to disturb one's rest. Transportation in the form of the shared red pickups or tuk-tuks are plenty in the area. We liked the red pickups better as the price is fixed as advertised on the side, we did round up and tipped them, the Tuk-Tuk guys always overcharge tourists, double the usual price and more. Really nice hotel felt very relaxed, perfect location for exploring the streets of the old town amazing local and pizza restaurant(s) less than 5 minutes walk away. The nice and good people who run Sanaidee. We stayed for 15 nights here. The room was large, comfortable, and quiet with a mini refrigerator and hot water kettle. The staff cleaned and restocked the water, coffee packets, and towels when I asked them too. The staff spoke English and daily greeted us with a smile. It was a great location to explore Old Town. The comfiest bed! The room size was great. The location is quiet even though in the middle of the city (unless you have noisy neighbors). It's a good place if you want affordable accommodation in a good location and you're not spending much time in your room. The receptionist was very kind. Good location, welcoming and helpful staff. Good location in the center, lovely large room with tea and coffee making facilities, good bathroom (wet room which yes the entire room gets wet). No laundry service at hotel. Our first room smelled musty, but seemed clean. Not much natural light making room dark during the day. Key card for power to the room - So can’t use the fridge in the room (pointless putting one in the fridge). Also only 1 key card is available for 2 people in the room. Shower water doesn’t run to the drain so bathroom floor floods after every shower. Bad breakfast - wouldn’t recommend. No escalator (lift) is there so I had to carry the baggage up to the 3rd floor. Kind of noisy but not the hotel's fault. Everything were good. However, a daily supply of bottled water and a kettle would be nice. The breakfast was not as described and limited in choice, also sometimes limited in amount. The shower flooded and you had to ask for amenities such as toilet roll and water which we were not aware of prior. A few reasons why I booked the place weren’t as advertised. Firstly I like to make a coffee before venturing out but there was no kettle in the room even though it was pictured in the room photos. The other thing is breakfast is terrible. I read it was simple but I wouldn’t serve this food to an enemy. One tiny egg, cheap sausage and fake jam toast. All of which gets served to you on a plate with no care at all. A simple plate of fresh fruit would have been a better option. The room is nice and clean. It could have had more light but we were only there to sleep so it was not a big deal. Walkable (10 mins) distance to night food market. The breakfast included was very simple and not very tasty. No lift. Toilet tank was broken. No available sockets at all — had to crack tv mount to get one socket. Overall despite its low price it still doesn’t worth the value. WC Door cannot lock. We found a cockroach in the bathroom. The shower didn't drain properly and due to the angle of the bathroom the water would pool in the side of the bathroom where the toilet is so every time you want to use the bathroom the floor was a puddle. When we asked about this the lady on the front desk told us that if the drainage was better you get a bad smell so it was picking which was preference. We also had to ask them to fix the hot water. That was done within 24 hours. Kettle was broken and had exposed wiring so wasn't able to use. You get what you pay. This place has no beds - just mattresses on the floor. The bathroom gets clogged - disgusting. Nothing really, there’s no housekeeping but you can ask for fresh towels and toilet roll no hassle. No smoking room or balcony. Rundown area. Sweet old lady but couldn't speak English. Noisy motorbikes in the early morning.
