quick and easy to check in, as expected. Hotel had clean rooms, good water pressure.
They did not have any more non smoking rooms when I checked in. The room didnt smell too bad though so it did not end up being a big deal. This hotel is exactly what you would expect. Nothing great, nothing bad.
old and now elevator to second floor only stairs.I did name the price on priceline and put in a bid, priceline came back and said the offer was to high and gave a sugested offer which I accepted. When we checked in the clerk told us the room would have been on $xxx per night had we not gone through priceline...we paid $xxx w taxes thru priceline. not such a good deal.
Extremely nice staff.
Wi Fi connection diffuculty. Teen son who you can break away from I-PAD.Would definatley stay again
Location and ease of entry from Highway. Good service on check in and quick check out. Good clean room.
Room was comfortable and clean, with above average amenities - digital TV, nice sink and bathroom, and refrigerator. Also a nice breakfast.
Our room was right on the street, and the hotel itself was very close to the street - TX 287 which is a very busy highway with much truck traffic. Fortunately, the traffic at night was fairly light, allowing decent sleep environment.A pretty nice hotel for the price, but make sure to ask for a room off the street. Access from parking area was somewhat restricted - a room toward the back of the hotel is definitely better.
Eventually got a clean and comfortable room.
Close call. When I checked in the clerk told me they only had smoking rooms left. Finally got into a non smoking room that was apparently out of service because of a torn carpet strip. Lower level hall way smoked out.I had always assumed that Priceline would not put clients into a smoked out room but I don't remember actually reading it. When I was checking in I was told that only smoking rooms remained. Two couples waiting behind me to check in actually walked out when they learned only smoking room remained. I would have lost my money and slept in my car before I tried to stay in a smoking room. Priceline needs to realize that most people consider a smoked out room to be uninhabitable.
NOTHING!!!! DO NOT LET ANYONE STAY THERE!!!!
We didn't like this hotel at all. Our reservation was for a non-smoking room because we don't smoke and my wife has asthma. All the non-smoking rooms were gone so we had to stay in a smoking room. HORRIBLE!!!!!This is the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at in our 58 years of living. Our reservation was made thru priceline.com (we have always had excellent rooms before). We had a 4.5 hour drive to Childress and we called the hotel on the way to let them know we would arrive at 10:30 p.m. They did not inform us of any problem. We we arrived at 10:30 p.m. we were told we would have to stay in a smoking room. We complained about that, but Ana (I think that was her name) said we could stay at another hotel near by since they also manage that hotel. We asked if we would have to pay more money and she said yes and to try to get our money refunded from priceline.com. I told her they don't give refunds. She made...
We were placed in a smoking room. They would not change it for us.
Very friendly staff and check in
sits right off the main road
