good do a bit better on housecleaning a little outdated on amenities in certain rooms upgrades for some rooms are a bit overdue
Nice, clean but economy version of a luxery hotel. 3 Star rating.
Awful room in South Tower. Dirty with hair all over. Old / stained carpet. Non working air conditioning. Only shampoo and bar soap provided. No conditioner, lotion or body wash. Bathtub cracked and old.
Location to downtown area
Very busy check in. No expiditing guaranteed guests.Room was nothing special
size, view, staff was unfriendly other than valet.
Clean, comfortable bed, very cool room
Having to pay for things that should be included like parking, breakfast and wifi.
We checked in and checked out within two hours. We ended up leaving because we had a sick toddler. The manager assured us we would be refunded for 50% of our charges since we had to leave. That was over a week ago. I have called and left three messages. It is nearly impossible to actually speak with a human and when you do talk to someone they never can seem to help in anyway. We also walked around the block to get ice cream and were approached 14 different times and asked for money.
Great Location, but not worth the money.
Parking was NOT FREE, like it said on the website. Valet was $27 and self parking was $16, per night. The elevators were a complete pain, at least for the South Tower. There are 3 elevators and they are very small. Maybe 6-8 people max at a time. Overall was just a decent experience. I will more than likely not stay here again.
It's a functional room with a great location but not much else. The bed is good and the shower is hot so if, like me, all you're doing is attending a conference all day and just coming back to go to sleep, it may be enough.
The facility is very tired and not very attractive; I described it to others as a "dormitory". Don't plan you're honeymoon or annual vacation here.
I liked that it was downtown and everything was walking distance. That was key, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed here. The view was also nice. Complimentary wifi.
I did not like that when we got there the sheets had hairs on them. Luckily, housekeeping came up and changed the sheets for us. The rooms were not very clean and the air filters must not have been either because I had an allergic reaction to dust. The rooms are small. Parking is not included. The only options are valet (which is $27 per night) and the 5th street parking ($16 per night) where we parked. We ran out of materials (such as toilet paper, etc), but kindly staff came and replenished our supply. The one thing that really upset me was that one of the furniture items had KKK carved on it. It's racially insensitive and terrible all together. That kind of thing is not acceptable.
This hotel is located in a nice central location. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel feels dirty. The bed in our room had a long black hair prior to our arrival. The bathroom was dated and there were very short shower fixtures.
The location was great with easy access to shopping and dining in the area. The connection to the Convention Center was also nice as we were there for RedsFest. The bar downstairs is nice and the staff were friendly.
It took nearly 30 minutes to clock in, room was smaller than expected with hardly any extra amenities such as a mini-fridge, pen and paper, only one coffee with no cream or sugar available, the ice machine took forever to use, etc. The water in room was also freezing cold for most of the morning and we were just told to "wait about 30 minutes" for it to be better.
This hotel was fine for our stay, which was to sleep after a Thursday night football game. I wouldn't recommend staying longer than that. Rooms are small.
Valet situation was horrendous. Manager at front desk was not friendly. Asked for a customer service number and she would not provide.
The location is great.
The hotel is old. The hallways smell like old cigarette smoke. I asked for a non pet room (allergies). I was told if a pet stayed in the room, the carpet would be cleaned. I got very sick. Not sure if the room was really that dusty/dirty or there had been a pet in the room. My daughter who does not have allergies was very stuffed with itchy eyes when she woke up too. The rooms and bathroom are very small. The sheets were dingy yellow and the bath towel my son used literally ripped apart after his shower - it was so old. No drain screen in tub, it was gross and no fan in bathroom. Poorest quality hotel I have stayed at in a long time.
