Hotel Palace is a tower 38meters tall - the rooms and restaurant enjoy an amazing panoramic sight on the ancient walls of the nearest historical center of Cittadella. This is a walled city of medieval origins, dating back to XIII century. Located in the middle of the Veneto plain, Cittadella is rich of traditions and cuisine. It is situated approximately 70 km from the Dolomiti Mountains and the Mount Grappa and at short distance from the other main towns(50 km from Venice, 20 km from Vicenza, 25 km from Padova, 35 km from Treviso). Cittadella is famous for its town-walls which are amongst the best conserved medieval defensive systems in Europe. The town is accessible through four gates,in correspondence of the four cardinal points: Treviso Gate eastwards, Padova Gate southwards, Vicenza Gate westwards and Bassano Gate northwards. Together with the near towns of Asolo, Bassano, Castelfranco Veneto, Marostica and Possagno, Cittadella gives shape to the famous "Hexagon", six towns of art in the heart of Veneto, dippened in a charming natural atmosphere and joined together by history and tradition. The hotel includes also a prestigious restaurant - La Campana d'Oro - the ideal place where to savour the typical meat and fish dishes of the venetian cuisine in a modern way. Who prefers instead to taste our chef's specialties in a simpler but welcoming atmosphere,can dine at the Ristorantino Pizzeria “Oxford”, in which either a set or à la carte menu are available. Oxford pub is also a typically English rendez-vous, equipped with a summer terrace. And if you want "to reach the seventh heaven", Palace Hotel invites you to a candle-light-dinner on the sightseeing covered terrace at the ninth floor. From there, you will be able to watch the town ancient walls while tasting a special fondue(Welsh Rarebit) à la chinoise, à la bourguignonne and... dulcis in fundo... a chocolate fondue! Further on, we are planning to build an outdoor swimming pool together with a wellness centre including a fitness room and a solarium.
