Really wonderful Experience.
There was nothing to not like
It is NOT pet friendlyI booked at 11pm and checked in at 4am, was charged as no show and ended up with dif rates
All services were good.
The front desk clerk was wonderful. Very accommodating.
It was difficult to exit the parking lot.
Free parking but I had to park far from room.
Remote didn't work. The pool was beyond freezing. The hot tub was cold. I told the mgr she said someone would check on it. It never even got lukewarm. When I complained I was told I pay for the room...everything else is a bonus. Green bananas at brkfst.
Not the most luxurious Hotel I have been to . But it was clean . The staff where very friendly . and helpful . We stayed in Room 209 . They had a nice set up with a desk and a little Kitchen setup . I would definitely go back there again
The only problem that had was that the top draw on the main dresser had appeared to have been glued shut . We did not try the breakfast . So I can not comment on that .
Location and price.
Drug deal in the parking lot upon our arrival. Made me scared. But. That could happen and any given hotel in that area.
Cleanliness, compfy bed, flat screen
The room smelled like a mix of incesticide, cat urine and mold. Paid too much for this level of quality.
The room had plenty of space, clean and staff was efficient.
I didn't like the smell of the room, the rugs need to be changed.
The Price and close to where I wanted to go.
Rusty bath appliences, dirty carpet (feet sole would turn black, noisy mornings.
The outdoor pool, and lounge area was amazing. The rooms were quiet, so you did not hear your neighbors. Each rooms opens to an outside common area instead of a hallway. The maids did not bother you, but were helpful when needed.
The hot tub jets were not strong/the temperature was luke-warm. The rooms are outdated & very few plugs in the room for electronics chargers. The wi-fi was sporadic. Price for room is high. Laundry machines are too small & too expensive. Carpet is dirty.
Very nice and clean. Spacious room.
Dated, but well maintained motel. Sign hard to spot at hiway speed...landmark is huge American flag at Kia dealer next door. Nearby beaches, shopping centers, restaurants. Will stay again.
Would never stay there again, very dumpy place.Could not get my internet to work, not anything was put in add.
Did a 'stacation' for my birthday and had a nice relaxing get away from home. Hot tub was not too hot. Very nice since it has been in the 90's every day for several weeks now. The hotel is on a major highway but my room was quiet and very comforatable. Nice to have the fridge and microwave as well. Would definitely stay again.
The place is upgraded. They put nice tile around the place and redid the rooms, too. The place is still great for pets. The breakfast needs improving, though. The pool and hot tub is still great. The staff should leave the air on in the rooms on low because the rooms were really hot. It finally cooled down after 24 hrs.
The room was nice and quiet. The pool and hot tub was really nice. Just want to let you know, DO NOT GO TO CLEARWATER BEACH!!!! There is constuction every where and there is no parking. If you do find parking, it will cost you $10. We went to Honeymoon Island and it's alot closer to the motel and it only cost you $5 for the whole day. Go north of hotel on US 19 about 1 to 2 miles and turn left on Curlew Rd. Then go to the end. It's quiet and it has a beach for the pets, too.
The front desk staff were very friendly & willing to please. However, the motel has weekly rates & the guests that occupy these rooms are not those that we would bring home to dinner. We were scared to go out into the parking lot @ night with the activities going on. Many women in tight clothes & cars coming & going. If you need a place to stay overnight & don't venture out in the evening I would reccomend.
The hotel is old and worn out. They allow dogs if that is what you're looking for. Unfortunatley I don't have a dog so I didn't appreciate the yipping dogs heard at 5am through the walls or the dog urine smell when the bathroom got wet. The maids were also annoying as they would knock on the door at 9am when I would say I would be hear until 11am I guess they didin't understand english because they kept coming back every 5 or 10 minutes. I'll never recommend it to anyone.
Don't pay for the rooms they call suites. They are smaller than an average room. The room did have a small sofa sleeper but not enough room to use as a sleeper. There is a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the exterior doors. I was worried about something crawling in the room. Room was very tight and not as clean as most.
