I got the two queen beds and they were comfortable. Air conditioning was kind of weird and on a movement sensor, but worked great once it cooled off.
The shower head! I will never understand why they limit the amount of water that flows from it. I ended up taking a half hour shower just to wash my hair! Nothing pisses me off more!Overall, I rate it well, but the whole shower thing will keep me from staying there again.
The price was right, the location was very good, and the staff was very friendly.
No complaints.A very nice hotel, for a very good price. The location is excellent for shopping and entertainment purposes. I recommend the Oak Tree Inn.
Met our expectations in most areas. Great staff. Good location.
As found in most motels, the in-room cooling unit made noise when cycling on and off which disturbed my sleep.
nice place, in the middle of no where Iowa. there is a casino nearby and an Applebee's
Very close to shopping and restaurants. Extremely quiet rooms.
They gave us a handicapped room; don't know why. The seat in the shower was so cumbersome that I had to open up the curtain to shave my legs. If you don't have to sit when you shower, standing was awkward. The website promises an ironing board and iron, coffee maker and hair dryer. No, no, no. The webiste also promises a breakfast at 'a remote location' which was better than a typical continental breakfast (which they have no room for) but we had to ASK about that offer. No one mentioned it when we arrived so we didn't know about it the first morning there. The remote location was next door. Good breakfast, horrible coffee. They also did not have any shampoo in the room. We got ONE body wash in the tiniest tube known to man. One squirt was all it contained, and ONE bar of soap that was the size of a quarter. This for two people. I had to go to Wal-Mart to buy shampoo, cond...
We were given a room that had not been cleaned old food was under the bed. In addition there were over fifty dead and live bugs in the room. The staff apologized but were not very helpful in assisting us with relocating to another room.We also had problems with plumbing and were given a plunger by the staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.
