It was not expensive.
The hotel is located off the side of I-70 and is not convenient to any other attractions in Columbus. It's actually in a rough part of town. The outside looks very worn and dated. Once we arrived there was no one even at the check in counter. After waiting several minutes for the girl to finish her phone call we received service. The girl was very nice, but was put in a terrible situation because she was by herself and didn't seem to know much about what was going on. She even told me that it was her first time working the front desk. Nothing at the hotel was available. The water park was closed even though the front desk girl that she thought it would be open. The bar, arcade, gift shop - all closed. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but the entire purpose of our stay was the water park and it was not expressed on the website that it would not be open. The girl also told me that I could cancel my reservation without penalty, which after reading my reservation details was definitely not true. If I had went on what she told me, I would've lost $55. The room wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. The TV was old and making a ringing noise while watching. The toilet would randomly kick on throughout the night. There was a strange smell in the hallway. With that said, it didn't seem unclean, just a little outdated.
Easy on/off the highway -- low price listed on Kayak. Very large rooms.
There's an extra $15 resort fee that you don't know about when you book on Kayak. Monday- Friday, the coffee shop isn't open, and the dining room doesn't open until 8. The rooms are old. Once you're inside the room, it's hard to tell it apart from a Motel 6. Night manager is not very professional - threw new employee under bus. Room doors are used and abused -- my key wouldn't work often. I wouldn't stay there again.
Everything they over booked the staff was rude and on helpful . Stay away !!!!
kids enjoyed waterslides
Too many people for such a small facility; extremely crowded. long lines
