The atmosphere is nice and the rooms are clean.
We were told by a waiter in the restaurant attached to the hotel that it was haunted. This scared my wife and she did not want to stay. So we spent---- for nothing.
The hotel is beautiful. The loft-like rooms are quite unique, very spacious, and a welcome break from the traditional hotel experience.
The room far surpassed my expectations!
The pillows were too small for my fat head! Regular sized pillows would be nice!
It's just different. Exactly what I was looking for. They emailed me to ask if there was anything they could do to make my experience better. They went above and beyond to help me out, I greatly appreciated it. As did my wife:).
It's in the city, so the parking isn't fun. Really have to look for Crowne Plaza entrance also. I used valet, I'm not the valet type, but for location, that was the way to go. When ya go, you'll see. $23vs$17, I'll do valet.
Not enough Valet to park vehicles, long wait for only being 50 feet away in traffic...
The room was beautiful and laid out perfectly
It would have been great to have a soda machine on the premises.
This Hotel was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortably
It met every expectation
The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Always a smile on their face and delighted to help. The room was much larger than I expected, very clean, quiet. The location is perfect, right across the street from the convention center.
I liked the layout of the room, but to the extent guest are noisy or have heavy footfalls, you could hear everything. I stayed 3 nights, the last night being a Friday, and it was a problem that night.
Loved the interior and size of the room!
Pool was next door at the joined hotel.
Modern feel to decor. Central location.
We were on the top (fifth) floor and we could hear roof top mechanical units. Also the mechanical unit for the room was noisy. Luckily we had ear plugs. It's probably better on lower floors.
Room was a nice size, beds comfortable.
My room was on the top floor and there was a lot of noise in the night apparently from A/C on the roof. The internet access was very slow. Hotel needs better wireless. Look at Xirrus.
We have stayed here before and were excited to stay again but deeply disappointed from the minute we walked into the hotel this time. It was dirty, our room was dirty and my son found dirty socks left behind bed immediately.Pool was closed, staff was rude
the waitress in the morning
My husband & I were seeing our favorite band for our 10th wedding anniversary and I had a hard time finding an available downtown hotel. We had walked by The Lofts before, while staying at nearby hotels, but didn't know what to expect. We loved the loft feel, the large room, the comfortable bed, the 1920's look of the bathroom, the exposed beams & duct work, etc. They even have shuttle service and shuttled us to the concert venue. We ordered breakfast for the next morning and it was delicious.
To say that the furnishings are sparse is an understatement. The hotel was cold and noisy. You could hear everything going on through the walls and doors. The staff was unhelpful, and unapologetic. The bathroom left much to be desired - a place to put the soap and shampoo in the shower and a decent hairdryer to start. The bathroom was not clean, nor was the carpet. The 'refreshed' room was not. Will not stay there again.
This hotel was just okay. The room was spacious, we stayed in the Superior King and it was great, but it was just a room. If you want room service it comes from Max and Erma's and the food was AWFUL. You have to travel over to the Crowne Plaza if you want to swim, etc. My 3 year old daughter and I walked over to the CP in the morning to their coffee shop and upon returning to the Lofts, THREE employees sat on their butts and watched me struggle with my hands full to open the doors. No one got up to offer help. So, if you just want a beautiful room with no amenities, this is the hotel for you.
The hotel has a very helpful and friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean and very quaint. From the high ceiling to the tiles in the bathroom, it's where you can see the history of ages preserved. I remember staring at the walls in the bathroom and wonder, if these walls could talk...
A very nice room for the money. Boutique and unique. The rooms are clean and they have a great service staff. The location was great and close to every thing. Would definitely stay again.
the hotel is very modern, minimalist, cold decor. Our room overlooked a parking garage, which we had to see because the blinds on the windows didn't work. This hotel was not our style. We would never stay there again.
The room was big, unique and clean. It's a loft style room with high ceiling and open design and the simple furnishing compliments it. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom has a retro style tiles and decor. Very swanky. Complimentary toiletries were Aveda products. The towels were plush and soft. It's located near great restaurant and fun night life area and literally accross the street from the convention center. There are plenty of taxis any time of the day just in case you don't want to drive. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Very friendly and accomodating. From the front desk to housekeeping to the shuttle driver, they are genuinely sincere to help you. My stay here was that much more enjoyable because the staff's willingness to accomodate my needs. The downside of the hotel was you have to pay for safe box, parking was $* a day, and the hot/cold water during shower.
Loved this hotel. Very gorgeous. Friendly and helpful staff.
