temperature control in roomGreat hotel for price, was a steal, would stay there again in a heartbeat!
--I didn't find the standard room excessively small, but I was only one person and it was functional for me. --The grocery store next door in the mall was convenient. --It is stumbling distance from a great beer bar, Fermentorn.
--Hotel has no 'charm' -- very industrial in appearance. --The pillows are small squares, and too small in my opinion. --I didn't find the noise a huge concern in my non-water side (city side) room, although was present.I am at a loss of how I really feel about this hotel. There was nothing really WRONG with it but it doesn't quite make it to 'I really liked this hotel' category. I landed pretty early in the morning and immediately made my way towards Copenhagen Island. Upon arrival, I was initially told the hotel was full the prior night and I needed to wait 6 hours for my room to be ready. I was then offered an upgrade for (first, xxx/night, then) xxxx/night. After spending xxxx night on a Priceline 'name your price,' I ...
excellent location, close to shopping staff was very pleasant
twin beds were small rooms were smallstaff very pleasant and helpful 24 hour service from desk
Loved that this hotel was right on the water. Also included a good breakfast.
The room we received was facing a busy street. But we were able to upgrade to the water facing rooms for a relatively small charge. This was a great hotel. It is about a half hour walk to the city centre or quicker if you take a scenic water bus that stops nearby. Being on the water was great. The hotel is quite modern and the rooms fun, although they are a bit on the small side. Would stay again at this hotel.
Location in summer is for sure a plus. The hotel is just beside mall, therefore great if you need to buy anything
Pillows. No feather pillows :-(Nice design oriented hotel, with an excellent staff. Breakfast buffet can be rated as good. Rooms are conveniently furnished and have everything that one needs for a stay. The hotel is located in an 'island' which enables one to make nice walks outside beside the water. The public 'natural swimming pool' is just behind the hotel. Public transportation can be reached within less then 5 min. Walk. One station to the central station and local trains pass every 5 minutes, so you're quick in the city. Basically a nice hotel for a reasonable price when you see the prices in Copenhagen. Would specially recommend in the summer time to families.
