The Square Hotel

The Square is consistently voted among the top hotels in Copenhagen and it's easy to see why. The location is as central as you can imagine, in the town hall square, close by Tivoli and the main shopping street, Stroget. There are restaurants and bars more or less in every direction. The area also very safe and is well lit. This is a modern property and typically Scandinavian minimalist yet manages to remain cosy.The lobby bar in the large reception area on the ground floor has a view over the Town Hall Square. Bedrooms are spottlessly clean and the luxury duvets and mattresses make for a very good night's sleep. All rooms have private toilet, shower or bathtub, hair dryer, telephone, minibar, trouser press and TV. Bathrooms are modern spacious. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 6th floor with views out over the city. Breakfast consists of a large buffet including boiled eggs, Danish pastries, breads, fruit, cereal, cold meats, juice, tea and coffee. Try the home made breads. There are even pastries and coffee to go in the lobby for those on an early start. Access to the internet, e-mail and word processing in the lobby.
