Location & price
Terrible breakfast Possible bed bug investation - I have numerous bites from some insect
Nice quiet town with eateries within walking distance.
Couldn't get on wifi.
The room appeared clean, no stains on the sheets or towels. No cobwebs of mold was visible anywhere. Basically, it's what you pay $88 a night for; cheap and clean. Check in and out was fast and easy. Staff seemed nice and accomodating when I needed something.
The beds were hard, the linens were scratchy. There was very low water pressure in the shower. The plug-ins in the room all need to be changed out, our phone chargers all kept trying to fall out. I was afraid the shower curtain was going to fall down. I was afraid to touch the floor lamp for fear it would fall apart & I'd get charged for it. One of the beds had a metal piece of the frame sticking out about two inches (sticking out in the walkway between the two beds) so I set a small piece of luggage in front of it to protect our shins.
Good location close to restaraunts and attractions. Vending machine had Ale 81. Evening clerk Frieda was very helpful.
Turned down the bedsheets and found an insect had been ironed into the linens. Blanket was full of cigarette holes. Elevator was broken. Juice machine on the breakfast bar was out of order. Hot breakfast items were cold. Overheard a guest commenting to the disheveled front-desk man, "Well, at least you have shoes on this time."
