The property was beautiful. Plenty of activities for the whole family. Recreation building was awesome.
Water pressure in the suite was terrible. We had a pizza delivered from the restaurant on site and it wasn't worth the $18 it cost.
The room was spacious
The resort was too far off the highway. Nothing inside the resort was close. We habe an infant and trying to go to the pool or dinner and breakfast was a whole ordeal. The room was dimly lit and outdated
The rooms were excellent and the grounds were very well maintained.
Everything was great!
Setting was fabulous
Too much wear and tear/run down looking
Great remodel of older hotel space. Good breakfast buffet.
Smoke alarms expired (over 10 years old)
Beautiful location and staff was very nice. Breakfast was excellent and free.
Sofa bed was horrible, not fit for humans. Executive suites were pretty run down, would not recommend staying in anything other than the main hotel.
The amenities and services available are second to none
This was a great place. The front desk accommodated us wonderfully
Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were were spacious, & the breakfast great! Our dinner was enjoyable.
Our room was at the back of the building, so poor access for luggage. Our phone did not work, nor did our shower & the resort was a little out of the way.
Wasn't much that this place doesn't have ... impressive
Staff was very professional.
Only had outside access to room which was inconvenient with temperatures in the single didgets.
Beautiful location, friendly staff, great value
little out of the way
Convenience, fun center, breakfast
Toilet leaked, called at 1am, leaked again ay 8 am. Had yoo clean up bathroom floor twice.
Clean room. Staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was included with cost of room and was very good. Swimming area was in another building, but a shuttle was provided.
Great experience. I had some trouble logging onto the internet and they brought me my own hot spot device at 1:30 AM. I would definitely recommend this hotel and am looking forward to coming back and spending more time there.
Beautiful location, made me wish I was staying for more than one night.
Heater in living portion of room only worked on high.
The price was good and the resort was very nice.
Wish the bar had a better beer selection and the bartender was not all that attentive
Dated. Staff at the resort needs training in customer service. Chairs in the breakfast area were very stained. They need to pay attention to detail. Buffet for breakfast was average. Coffee cup had someone else's lipstick on it.
The main building looked great .The room we were given in another building was dark and substandard . the area needs a major redo.we asked the housekeeper for bath soap and tissues and was told that those items were on back order.
I recently came to Glade Springs as part of a conference. I found my room in the Inn comfortable, newly appointed and tastefully decorated. Their conference center is spacious and features all the IT and AV amenities we needed. The catered food for our event was also much better than I had come to expect from places like this and their 'Bunkers' sports bar offers up really big portions for the price--not at all reminiscent of 'hotel food'. Some of us found time to golf on one of the three courses on their beautiful property (West Virginia fall colors are something to behold!). The 18 holes I played on their Stonehaven course have got to be one of the most enjoyable rounds I've played anywhere--and I've played dozens of courses down the east coast from Florida to Quebec--there was not one hole on this course I did not like. The view from the top of the 16th hole is simply breathtaking. I plan to make my way back to West Virginia for a weekend golf trip next spring to play their Cobb and Woodhaven courses.
Checked in for a meeting. Was told that morning that the room was ready. At 9pm after being exhausted, I went to room, tossed back sheets to find dried blood stain on sheets and bedspread. Dark stains on carpet. Felt grossed out all night. Left feedback for hotel management, but they never returned my comments/call.
Our summer vacation at Glade Springs Resort was all we could have hoped for. Sometimes it is hard to plese a 16 year old and an 11 year old, but they both want to go back next year. The executive suites were older, but well maintained. The food was great on the buffets and at Bunker's Sports Bar. We only left the resort once in the six days we were there. The leisure center has so much to do that even if it rains the kids have a great time. We enjoyed the tennis and the outdoor pool also. It was not overly crowded while we were there and we definitely enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The first thing we saw upon arrival were deer walking through the parking lot of the main inn. The surroundings are beautiful. We really enjoyed our vacation.
