Had the hotel smellVery dated hotel
This hotel was excellent. I especially liked the complimentary breakfast which had a great selection of quality items including real, freshly scrambled eggs!
Probably not the hotel's fault, but the running water smelled like rotten eggs and was excessively 'soft' making it difficult to rinse off the soap suds in the shower!
The location is great.
Breakfast is all right but we ended up going out one morning.
Location, spacious accommodations and staff wanting to please.
Dull or neutral appearing carpet and walls. But I suppose some would complain if you had used a brighter more colorful pattern.
The bed was comfortable. The room was a good size for two adults and a child. The toiletries they provide smell nice and are good quality. We got a very good price. Excellent room.
The shower was tiny. No elevator to second floor. Sleazy looking people coming out of on-site cocktail lounge and exterior doors to hotel propped open.
It was nothing spectacular but for the location and star quality it was fine. I only needed a clean safe place to sleep and it provided that. I wasn't in the area for a hotel. It did it's purpose.
Lid to toilet was up and had pee in it that stunk up the bathroom. Wouldn't of been a big deal but the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work.
The room was a large suite and had two TVs.The hallways were pretty dirty.
We could NOT get the air conditioning to work properly. It was either on full blast (though only briefly) or it was off and we were sweltering. When we told the person at the front counter about this, she seemed unconcerned. Breakfast bar was also bad.
The outside pool.easy aces to hoghwsy.breakffast. hehe employees were AWESOME very friendly
No lock on bathroom door .no exhaust fan in their either Needs updating
The lack of amenities for this star ratings
Do not let the name fool you, there is no quality at this hotel. The room was dirty, the build up of crud in the bathroom was gross. The tub was fithy. The ceiling was peeling in the main bedroom. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were the cheap
Not clean and very dated.
We have stayed there at least seven or eight times when visiting family. The staff is always very friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is old but it is clean and well managed. It is always our choice when traveling because it is pet friendly and the
People that don't clean up after their dogs in a pet friendly hotel. Just because it's a grassy area doesn't mean you shouldn't clean up after your dogs!
Front desk staff was great and very helpful and gave recommendations and directions when asked. The continental breakfast was very good, it had variety and offered healthy options.
You can tell it is an older building, the room had a little but not a musty smell.
Rooms are clean and comfortable
Front desk staff was not very friendly. Had to wait for her to finish her smoking break outside, 10 minutes, just to check in
Breakfast area a bit far from rooms bur no big deal. A little stroll never hurt anyone.
We had a great time chatting to all the other people in the resturant in the evening. because it was a bit out the way we all were eating there. it was a high light of the trip.
I do not like eating off of styro plates and cups for breakfast. I f it could not be stoneware , paper would be better.
nice big rooms
bathroom not the best / water really hot
Great overall experience for a quick, convenient stopover for Rte. 80 travellers. Large, clean, comfortable rooms! Pleasant staff too.
Neat and well maintained Room.
Deserted look and very few people at the time of stay.
Seemed to updated. Room was clean.
Need to put some money into the exterior of the hotel.
place was good, room wasn't clear, the bath plug was un-useable, Looked like the room hadn't been vacuumed for a while, water on the heater in the morning. The staff was friendly both in the evening and morning.
Convenient to I-80. Large clean room and hot breakfast included.
Carpet needs replaced.
A little dirty & dated.
Road in very rough. Almost like a truck stop in the parking lot.
Decent location, not expensive
The room was stinking The receptionist in the morning was unprofessional; he said I got to check out no matter what at this time; the night person said it is ok to stay till 2 pm, the morning guy says its documented anywhere
Very poor lighting at night in the parking lots. Especially in the back lot. I would not stay there again because it did not feel safe walking from my car to the hotel.
quality of room was excellent.
parking was nowhere near the room! outside of hotel does not match the inside of the hotel.
Not much good to say about it staff was nice.
lots does not deserve a 2 star rating should be a 1 because of cleanliness, old hotel.
couldn't get in outside doors with key card, balcony was filthy with cigarette butts and room smelt like smoke for a non smoking room.
It is very close to the highway.
There is no elevator. Call as soon as you have your reservation and ask for a room on the first floor. Their are 2 floors and the hotel is quite spread out. Your room can be quite far from the lobby.
Spacious rooms and friendly staff
Worn down, vending and access doors not functioning, and too many dogs.
The wifi was not working. Outlet in bathroom didn't work. The back door card scanners were not working. Was not able to upgrade room Bc it was an 'online special.' Building in need of remodeling.
Continental breakfast was okay.
Hotel is old and run down. Wallpaper falling down. Tub didn't drain well. Lobby is old, Bar attached to the hotel. Not at all a family hotel,
Great breakfast buffet. Better than most.
No refrigerator in room.
We were looking for a hotel that was close to the hospital where my mother in law was in critical condition. We were looking for a choice hotel because we knew there were no 3 star hotels in the area. It was 3 miles to the hospital. Really liked that.
Where do I start? Outside locks did not work with our room keys, there was no elevator and we were on the second floor with bags to carry to the second floor. We were in the back of the hotel. the room smelled like cigarette smoke, uncomfortable bed.
Rooms were nice size and very clean. Staff was very friendly. The price was very reasonable.
The hotel entrance was a bit difficult to find due to poor signage.
I don't feel this hotel was a 2.5 star hotel. Furnishings are old, mattress was very uncomfortable, and heater was loud and the output smelled. Waited at front counter for close to five minutes to check-in.
I was given a room and was never asked if I wanted a non-smoking room. Walking all the way to my room I could not make it as the odor from smoking was overpowering. Walked back to the lobby, took 4 trys, 2 rooms, and maintenace to get the key to work
Our reservation was not honored by the hotel since they were overbooked. They offered no help to find another during the weekend when all the surrounding ones were full too. Priceline did try to help us, but we wound up finding one on our own. Beware.
The location was convenient
It has bedbugs...confirmed by my doctor and my 3 month old son's pediatrician. Staff were unwilling to help.
outside doors didnt lock...wall paper peeling off wall..slider door dirty and no screen..place was dated...
Close to Knoebels
The pull out sofa was horrible. The springs had hardly any covering.
Proximity to route 80
Dirty windows, poor building layout and design, outdoor pool not heated,no clean towels available at the pool. breakfast buffet was very average and with limited hours, the windows in our room were not able to be securely locked from the inside
Breakfast was terrible. Was supposed to be served untill 9 am but stopedre stocking at 830. Not even any toast left. Staff was rude when we asked if the could bring more out. Pool was run down and dirty. Room was dirty. Sheets were dirty.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a problem with the tv when we turned the tv on at 10:30 pm. called the desk in case it was just a problem with working the remote. They sent someone up to check it out in 15 minutes! Staff friendly and helpful.
I have stayed here twice dropping my daughter off at school in Lewisburg. Lewisburg is about 20 minutes away so it is not too bad. The rooms are good sized, clean and fairly quiet. I say fairly because both times I stayed the Little League World Series was being held nearby so a large number of very enthusiastic young boys (and parents) are in evidence. The common areas are clean and well ordered and the staff is friendly. It has been a good stay both times.
If we're ever in the area again and need a room, we're staying at this Quality Inn again. Clean rooms, spacious rooms, nice beds, and a free full breakfast ;served at the Country Kitchen on premises. Definitely one of the best motels we've stayed at in a long, long time. At normal price, it's a tad expensive, but they took the EIG coupon on a Friday night, so you can get the place for a good price. Great motel.
Staff went out of their way for us, very friendly. Buffet breakfast was great, room was comfortable. overall a great surprise, would stay again.
