Foul odor in room, noisy A/C, small room, general lack of cleanliness.
Location and customer service by front desk
There was nothing I liked about the hotel
The room was too small, poor location for the hotel, dingy washcloths
close to the highway
I was given a double bed room which was not cleaned up to my expectations.
No attempt was made to reduce the noisy hotel guests. I was initially given a smoking room and had to be moved.
No fridge in the room, hallway smelled of marijuana and vomit.
Conveint to the area and just off the I10 freeway makes this the place to be, as well as a short drive to Mobil should you be in the area. Home town feel
The entrance could be a little better marked and there is just one way in & out should this entrance be blocked by traffic.
(Hotel Employee) was working the desk and he answered my questions and got us set up quickly. He also refilled O.J. machine 5 mins before close of breakfast.
After 2 hours of being in our room it was time to take a shower only to find out the tub was clogged. We were told we could switch rooms and he brought the new room key upstairs. No problem but the new room was better than the first one. It was a suite!
The night auditor
The location. There is only one way in and out, and the hotel is on a hill.
The Hotel Location is right of I-10 and has a nice breakfast bar.
Damien at the front desk was down right mean! I was overcharged and his response was 'It's only fuve dollars.' When I asked him to be a bit nicer he laughed and said 'Ma'am I have a lobby full of people so do you want this room or not?'
I felt the staff was friendly, and the room was clean/comfortable. My expectations (which were low to begin with) were met. All features listed were present. It was the 2nd cheapest hotel in the area, but worlds better than the cheapest.
I was billed in full a week before my stay which cause me to have my card declined at a movie theatre. The parking lot and entrance is situated poorly, as you have to make a u-turn in order to get into the lot if coming from the interstate. Breakfast meh.
The breakfast really needs to include more options. while fruit and cereal are nice instant oatmeal is about the only other option. Also I would consider moving the breakfast nook to the conference room or another are as there simply is not enough seating
