Pros:Rooms were clean and comfortable enough. The hotel itself felt safe, though the same could not be said for the surrounding area. Food was fine, though not an extensive menu. If you're looking for a cheap deal in Dasmarinas, this may be one of your best options.
Cons:My local hosts reinforced that the immediate vicinity is off-limits after dark. They advised me not to walk around there during the daytime either, but I disregarded that advice and found it to be safe enough, though nothing in particular to see or do on a walk. I would definitely concur that you shouldn't walk around the area at night - cars only! As other reviewers have noted, wifi is only available in the lobby. I met the owner and he was apologetic but explained that it was expensive. Sorry, but this is a modern necessity - like toilet paper and water. The staff were not rude or impolite, but I felt none of the hospitality and warmth I experienced in other Filipino hotels. I felt like they were just there to do their jobs. The facilities are clean, and the hotel is relatively new. However, I couldn't help but notice that the hotel has a do-it-yourself feel about it. In particular, I noticed an electrical breaker actually in my shower, with some unsheathed wiring. Definitely not up to code in any developed country, and possibly unsafe. The food, as mentioned, was OK, but nothing to write about. After two days, I was ready to move on.
