This is an old Hotel with a price that matches the age. However, the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff was as good as it gets.
No there was not anything I disliked about this hotel. It is what it is for a darn good price.I will stay at this hotel next year when I return.
Way too expensive. Hotels next door were one quarter of the price as this one. We were locked into reservation is the only reason we stayed there.Ok hotel. Just way too over priced. Linens and curtains soiled. Hotels around this one were one quarter the price. We were locked into reservation is the only reason we stayed there.
Location, king-sized bed was amazing, very clean, flexible about payment upon check in
Family-owned so staff needs a bit of training. Slightly dated rooms (CRT TV, 3 pillows on bed, old chairs in room)I went here with my girlfriend as a place to crash after seeing a Cubs game, then the beach after. Check-in the owner was at a 'party' but the mother checked us in but had issues with the credit card machine, so we paid the next day. The king sized bed was very VERY comfy & good sized bathroom. But the bed had 3 pillows and the wall unit was extremely noisy at night. And the TV is a bit old, mid-1990s. For the price (xxx) and the location (Less then a mile from the stadium and the beach and the pier), you can NOT beat it. It's not a resort, but a good place to crash if you're doing an overnight beach trip and want to spend your money on food and souvenirs.
