The staff were excellent. From providing a courtesy shuttle, to brand new toys for the kids, this hotel exceeded expectations.
I got probably the worst room on the hotel.
Soaking tub, and that's it. Everything else was a joke and not worth the money we paid. We want a refund!
Everything else. The staff is rude. Their website is deceptive regarding room amenities (soaking tub/rainshower is only guaranteed if you request it, but they don't say that anywhere on the website). You hear EVERY noise! The check in staff are somewhat professional but if you have any issues can be rude. We booked a superior room and upon entering our room, we found not what we were promised on the website. A superior room description indicates a separate rain shower and soaking tub. We found a tiny shower/tub combo. Thus, we went back to the desk and told the receptionist of our issue. She became rude and stated that some of the superior rooms only contain the rainshower/soaking tub. She stated it was 'the luck of the draw,' which we found strange considering their website indicated nothing about having to request that particular room or that...
The hotel has a free shuttle car service which you could use to be driven around downtown and I love this. The front desk was helpful, explained me all the amenities and complimentary services.
I had a room close to the street and I was able to hear the cars during the night. Didnt expect this from a boutique hotel. The wifi signal was not reliable and kept disconnecting. I had to use my cellphone to connect to a meeting which I had to attend.
perfect location for the theatre - very helpful staff who printed off lost tickets for us - nicely updated rooms
The windows are very old and drafty. That had to be the loudest hotel I've every stayed in. It was almost as if the windows were open and you could hear conversations, yelling, sirens, traffic from the street below.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.
The rooms are a little on the small side, but expected for a historic hotel.
One reason I chose this hotel was it offered bed choice. I requested two beds because I was with a friend. First room we received had one queen. They were able to give us a long but said no rooms with 2 beds were available.
I loved this hotel!!! I would never have been able to stay there at the hotel rates but Priceline Hooked Me Up!!
The hotel had outstanding service. With the location of the hotel being right down town, the courtesy cab was extremely helpful, and responsive.
windows were single pane
