2.0 Poor
Pros:The view from our room.
Cons:The room was not cleaned good enough and we found some drugs and surrendered it to management but they did not even offer us a new room and any consideration since im an elite member. I had to book a room at a different location. Will not be staying there at all in the future.
J
7.1 Good
Pros:Great view of the river
Cons:Very mediocre hotel for a Marriott. I expected more, but since I used a voucher on it, I won't complain too much
D
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Everything! Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, nice shower head, plenty of restaurants (and Starbucks) on site and new cars and trucks; life is good.
Cons:It might take a few more stays, at a good price, to feel comfortable finding my way around.
N
6.0 Okay
Pros:Beautiful views. Nice staff
Cons:Reservation for three guests. We arrived to find one bed. They were going to charge us $50 for a roll away. After some discussion they said they would not charge us and that we needed to let our friends and family who may stay there in the future that a $50 charge for roll away should be expected. Huh? In the future don’t expect 3 guests to share one bed!
A
6.8 Okay
Pros:The view, once I got moved to a higher floor with a water view. And the space, once my room got changed.
Cons:Room was not very clean. Dust on phone, desk clearly not wiped down after the previous guest. Wifi was spotty/slow. They didn't pay attention to any of the requests I had in my reservation.
A
9.4 Wonderful
Pros:The view over looking the river and the city was stunning. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Close to all amenities.
Cons:There were two weddings going and the bar was over capacity. The food from the kitchen was sub par at best and the wait for service was too long. The staff was apologetic and curtious but understaffed.
A
9.7 Wonderful
Pros:Location! Easy to get to businesses and beautiful run along the river. Get outside! Detroit has done an amazing job with getting back on its feet and you should participate!
R
5.1 Fair
Pros:Excellent Breakfast Buffet.
Cons:As a Marriott Rewards Gold member I expected much better! Room was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. Front desk eventually connected us with Chad, Housekeeping Mgr, who sent someone to clean our room. However, Chad should have come to see for himself since there obviously were issues that need to be addressed with the housekeeping staff.
A
2.0 Poor
Pros:Wouldn't know, didn't get to use the rooms.
Cons:Booked the rooms for a group gathering downtown. Several people came from out of state. The room was booked far in advance. We showed up, only to be told that they double booked the room and we were bumped. They had double booked so many people that day and displaced them to other downtown hotels that the nearest accommodation was more than a half hour away. Single handedly ruined a get together we had been anticipating for more than 6 months. Told us this with smiles and jokes like it wasn't a big deal. Oh, the rooms on the other side of the state were free though, so that totally makes up for it, right? (It didn't)
C
7.1 Good
Pros:The hotel was clean in expected Marriott style. Great location. Rooms were a good size with nice amenities.
Cons:The staff was absolutely terrible. From the person who checked in my party inccorectly to the night manager at the front desk who treated us terribly. The check out process was an absolute mess, mainly due to the unprofessional empliyee the front desk. The service from the front desk staff will be the reason I never stay at this hotel again.
