The Surf Shanty Motel

The Bell Buoy Inn is located just a few short steps from the beach in Dewey Beach, and within walking distance of nightlife, recreation, shopping, and local dining. Rehoboth Bay is 200 yards from the property, which offers select pet-friendly accommodations with prior arrangement. This Inn is open from April to November, with select openings during the off season for holidays and special events. This property is not ADA accessible.

The Bell Buoy Inn offers complimentary WiFi and spacious rooms with various arrangements. All guest rooms include a sitting area, cable TV, refrigerators and microwaves, and in-room climate control. There is also one two-bedroom suite that offers a full kitchen, separate living area, ocean views, and comfortable accommodations for up to six guests. All rooms include private bathrooms that feature either a tub or a shower.

Free on-site parking is provided for all guests but reservations must be made in advance or at the time of booking. This is a non-smoking hotel. Shuttle bus service is available for hotel guests. There are 11 rooms at the Inn, which is close to the Delaware Seashore State Park. Guests can also visit Jungle Jim’s, the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, Tanger Outlets, and the Midway Speedway. The Two Seas Restaurant is just steps from the hotel for local dining. There is a sundeck and terrace for guest enjoyment, along with a garden area on the property. Vending machines are available for drinks and private check-in and check-out services can be provided.
