the manager and his staff were gracious, they check with us to see if we wanted the room cleaned or if we needed more towels
the noise its close to the train tracks,
the owner was amazing very kind honest and helpful
was an older building, there were things could have used fixed up
The owner is very friendly and helpful. It did not pretend to be better than it is; but he takes care of you. It is a hotel that is well taken care of and as a single woman, I felt safe.
It was a place to stay at the last minute. I was not impressed.
The place was run down, the continental breakfast was terrible. It was grab n go not continental.
It was clean, but I've stayed in much nicer places for the price.
I was on the 2nd floor and had metal steps. Room was right by the steps and every time someone came up you could hear them. Awakened at 2:30 by loudness.Very low voltage and did not charge my phone overnight.Microwave would not heat.Breakfast very poor.
Water pressure of shower head and location close to Museum.
Old out dated motel. Small, dirty and in disrepair. Staff very unfriendly when checking in late. Did not feel safe traveling with family.
The staff was nice...
The room could use a little tlc....the tub was chipped and clearly needs to be replaced....
Comfortable beds. Good lighting in restroom. In room microwave and refrigerator. A/C-Furnace unit provides continuous white noise rather than turning off and on as many do. Free wifi. Light continental breakfast. Quiet surroundings.
Room is small. The Kleenex box was empty. No extra roll of toilet paper was provided. One small bar of soap for both the sink and the tub...and it smelled rancid.
Security, Management, Room, Location and pretty much everything in this motel.
Corvair at the office
Easy location to find.
I understand it was a one star, but the bathtub/shower's finish was peeling up, the bathroom door was warped and split, the room walls were just cheaply painted cinder blocks! For $xx I feel like I got ripped off by Priceline.
Hotel is dated but comfortable. Staff is nice and welcoming.
Very old bad rooms, tub was chipping away.
This was a one night stay and so hard to judge. Room was all right but wasn't thrilled with the amenities.
If you don't mind the completely overwhelming smell of cigarrettes in your room (when you have a 'nonsmoking' room, the filthy bathrooms, smelly towels, and gross floors, then this is the place for you!
I just checked in today. I was concerned aftef reading some of the reviews. The hotel was built in the 1960s, according to the owner. The pool is out of order, but I'm here on business. The outside of the place needs some updating, but the room was as nice as any of your typical national chains. Mine has a nice, comfortable queen bed, and small table with 2 chairs, a desk, microwave, and refridgerator. The tv has cable and the internet was very easy to hook up too. The owner was very friendly and helpful. For the price, it can't be beat. I'll be happy to stay again.
This new hotel of americas best value inn, was an excellent stay for me and my friend. We checked in about 11 pm and staff member was very nice, because we asked for some extra towels and he said he would bring it to us, which was very good knowing it was late. We in the morning stopped in the lobby for coffee and some danish, was good and thanking the manager for bringing the towels that late. He mentioned to me and my friend, the hotel was completely redone and really looked good. Price and service was very good to us, so take a look at it, would not be dissappointed.
I feel we had a good time when we stayed at the new americas best value inn. The newly renovated hotel, was very comfortable for us, because they basicly have redone the whole place. The manager was very friendly to us and informational about the city. I wood recommend and come back to stay with them, next year on our way to arizona.
We stayed here becouse everything else in town that was in our price range was full. The rooms were dark. The bathroom floor was dirty, There was extensive water damage to the ceiling at the back of our room. There were holes where pieces of the drywall was coming down. There weren't any cups in the room, so you couldn't get a drink of water. And to top it off the bath towels were about the size of dinner napkins and about as thick. When I went to ask for extra towels he questioned me about how may people were in the room.
