Great port in a storm ..... Room clean and staff nice
I liked the walking path close by. The staff was excellent. Other dining close too.
Night desk clerk was friendly and came pretty quickly when we arrived.
It had snowed that night and when we got to our room it was freezing. The window heater/ac unit was turned off. Free breakfast looked terrible so we didn't eat. Definitely not worth the $$$. I would have expected to pay $--- for this, not $----
2015 - new, well kept room. Free breakfast was fresh and warm with good variety to choose from.
Friendly StaffGreat BreakfastThe clerk at the desk took the initiative to look up road report for us
In the short time I was at the hotel, everything was as promised. I felt good about my stay.
No negative comments.
New and clean
The Pool was closed and nothing was mentioned on the website about it.
Great newer hotel. Clean. Mainly construction guys staying there.
I travel to or through Douglas quite often and the Sleep Inn is my preferred hotel to stay in. Consistantly good and friendly service, convenient location.
I would sleep in my car before staying here. Charged myself and two other people next to me a 'Smoking Fee' even though none of us smoked anything there. DO NOT STAY HERE.
I stayed here several nights last month. This is a new hotel that just opened, so everything was brand new and absolutely spotless. The room where I stayed was larger then most typical hotel rooms and was very spacious. The bathroom had a very large walk in shower, which I prefer over the more typical shower in the tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there were several different eateries to choose from with in a short walk. I will stay here again the next time I am in Douglas.
