Very relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable
Unless you have a car, hotel is not ideal
very shabby and in need of decoration. Despite location it felt like an old budget hotel
Hotel could definitely do with a make over - balcony roof leaked - general decor in rooms shabby.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Good food and plenty of variety. Good leisure facilities. Pleasant and relaxing surroundings.
Would have liked to have known beforehand that caps were needed in the swimming pool
Rooms a disappointment as rather small
Staff were efficient, friendly and competent.
Didn't get sea view as booked.....but were upgraded to an Executive Room at the original price. The Assistant Manager was particularly friendly, understanding and helpful
When anything was not as liked eg. in the restaurant, the very attentive staff immediately rectified the situation.
It is a historical building with modern facilities, the view from the room was lovely, it is not far from the village, walking down is ok but recommend a cab home
The hotel has a distinct character of its own, it made such a pleasant change to be able to stay in such a homely and comfortable hotel that has managed to totally avoid the 'corporate feel' common to so many hotels.
Excellent staff, great location on the coast, easy transit into Dublin via the Dart. Would definitely stay again.
