No carpet on floors
No hot water the first morning
used to be cheap hotel for cheap price
Frequent traveller ... 2nd time in same month NO hot water in morning. asked if could shower at one of the 5 adjacent hotels... no. No compensation.one night tremendous domestic fight at midnight. lots of smokers, cigarette butts everywhere.
Good value for the price. Staff was very friendly.
Little things were overlooked. No tissues in the room. Toilet paper was down to the very end.
clean, nice quick check in checkout
The room was spacious and clean with ample towels and toiletries. The staff was accommodating and affable.
Cigarette butts on the stairwells and all corridors. Maybe remove some of the bird poo as well. Maintenance folks have been seen in the parking lot cleaning up.
The heater in the room did not work. I was changed to a different room and went from Queen beds to Full sized beds. Was told this was the best they cold do. Charged for a room with Queen beds instead of a room with Full sized beds.
The price of the room.. I got a steal!!
The clerk was extremely slow.
the price and location
the beds were a little too soft for me
Very convienent of I95.Staff was helpful. good clean room.
Price was right and they had a room.
TV was bad, internet was non-existent in room. Breakfast was weak at best, but price overall for a night's sleep was OK.
The staff was really good. Although the cleaning staff seemed more focused on getting off then they did cleaning rooms.
Was here for 9 days and the room was cleaned one day out of the 9. Had to go one day with out any towels. Just really not a good stay there for me. Room was just not up to Days Inn standards for me. The microwave did not work, and water just barely warm.
No smoking room reeked of smoke! Breakfast looked looked like it was from last week. Staff refused to give me a receipt because room was prepaid online!
Nice area. Great staff.
The dead roach on the A/C unit, the dead stinkbug on the shower wall, the unvacuumed room and the fact that I could not get my room changed. On the first night I found no toilet paper and was told that if I wanted any I would have to go to the front desk.
Dirty and multiple insects including roaches
Nowadays, even some of the well known hotels can be dirty and give you an uneasy feeling. Thankfully this was not the case with the Days Inn in Edgewood, Maryland. The room was clean, neat and smelled fresh.
I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.
nice hotel and freiendly staff. . quite adequate for the price paid
Really out dated hotel. If you can deal with camping this hotel will be good for a night. No bells no whistle just a bed and a room. But it is close to the highway. Booked it because the Holiday Inn next store was filled.
Checked in on a Friday evening and checked out 1 hr. later. The room was dirty and with a very deep musty smell. The carpet was decrepit and disgusting. The mattress was old, worn out and very uncomfortable. If that wasn't enough seen a roach in the room and when I opened the drawer to the night stand a spider with very long legs crawled out. In addition, the room below us was apparently conducting some extra curricular business activities out of it. As people were milling about outside the room and coming and going regularly. I went to the front desk to request a refund and was told they couldn't do that since I made the reservation through Travel online. Told me to call the manager on Monday. We shall see if they do the right thing! To summarize, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
i thought for what i paid it was a nice stay other than not having a pool. I couldnt believe that! Everything else was nice and i would stay again!
I made my reservation the same day that I needed the room. The front desk staff was very friendly and had quick service. She knew that I would be arriving soon, and made sure that she had the necessary paper work to get me to my room. Also, she gave me proper driving instructions around the building to find the room. It was raining outside and I had my son with me. The room was clean, tv guide was legible, and the remote had batteries! (Some other hotels don't have that!). Checking out was just as quick as checking in was. I live in Edgewood, and I would stay there again. It was my home away from home for one night!
The place was newly renovated and beautiful. However, it was not cleaned well. The bed was made but there was hair in the bathroom and a used offee filter in the coffee pot. Gross. One key did not work to the door. As a single female checking in at midnight, safety is a big concern. Being left in the dark trying to use a key that won't work doesn't help. Also, when I entered the room, the light on the switch would not not work. So much for safety. The manaer never asked howmy stay was, get this because she was too busy chatting it up with the houskeeping supervisor. No joke.
The desk staff was nice we checked in late after 12am and the desk girl was very pleasant and helpful
First of four nights, our group needed a rollaway. No problem. Staff is responsive. Second thru fourth nights we had second room. We were charged for safes in rooms that we did not use and mgmt wants to charge first room with rollaway for all four nights. She would not listen. She just scolded and yelled. We will NOT be back.
