The room smelled like smoke and we had to buy a glade plug in
Rude, Unclean,Employees came in room for no reason and went through our bags. Room was very small, narrow and dark. Decor was awful. I could not stay the days I had paid for but had to end my trip eartly
When I booked this hotel, I booked a room with 2 queen beds. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was told they did not have any rooms with double beds, only with 1 king bed in each room. Not what I was booked, and not a pleasant sleeping experience.
It's in a great location.
Pictures online are several years old. Interior has been changed and furniture in lobby was shabby and dirty.
PRICELINE BOOKED MY ROOM AS A SMOKING ROOM. THE HOTEL WAS BOOKED AND I HAVE REALLY BAD ALLERGIES. PRICELINE CUSTOMER SERVICE TREATED ME LIKE LOW LIFE AND GAVE ME A RESPONSE THAT MADE ME FEEL LIKE THEY DIDN'T EVEN CARE. I WAS TOLD TO LIVE WITH IT.
THE SMOKY, STINKY ROOM THAT PRICELINE BOOKED ME INTO. THE SMOKY, STINKY ROOM THAT PRICELINE CUSTOMER SERVICES TOLD ME TO LIVE WITH IT AND THEY WEREN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
Bed was uncomfortable! Also one of the beds was not made!
We stayed here for one night on our way home from a ten-day, four state 'vacation' (hard work for vacation!). We were driving from Iowa to Texas and could not drive any further - we didn't want to get quite into the city (Wichita), so we decided that this city would be the best place. I'm always wary of a place that I have not previously reviewed on the internet or seen pictures of, but we decided we'd give it a try. I actually called the hotel from the road (I talked to Derrick) and asked them to tell me HONESTLY - if they were two women, with two small children and insisted on VERY clean rooms, would THEY bring their family to that hotel. He said yes, with no hesitation. We decided to check it out, knowing that if we didn't like it, we could always leave. Check in was quick, and my mom stayed with the kids (asleep in the car) while I ran some luggage up and checked out the room. I was VERY pleased with how IMMACULATELY clean the room was - very nice linens, a very comfy bed, and no dirt that I could see anywhere. I was SO pleased to find a GREAT room for such a great price. It's not the Ritz - it's a sort-of small (not too bad), standard hotel room and there aren't really any frills. BUT, if you are very particular about how clean a room is (which we are), this is a GREAT one. Breakfast was decent (nothing special) - I went down by myself when everyone else was still asleep. When the kids woke up later, I took them down and realized that breakfast was closed already (didn't get times at check in, but it was 1am, so....), and the kids were pretty disappointed. HOWEVER, the manager noticed us talking and very nicely (without us asking!) went back in the back and brought the cereals and milk back out for me the make a bowl for the kids. I was so impressed with this little guesture! Overall, I would have liked someone at check-in to have offered to help us up the stairs (no elevator) with our luggage (or at least held the door!), but it was a nice cle...
