convenient, good bed, good breakfast
hair in the tub when we arrived
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome.
It seemed a bit run-down and in need of paint and updates.
The front desk employees were very accommodating.
They're currently remodeling this Holiday Inn so boxes everywhere. I didn't realize this Holiday Inn was downtown. I litteraly mean off the highway so we heard traffic ALL night. The pool was next to the highway exit so all cars buzz by as well.
Great staff--very accommodating.
close to the train station and had shuttle service.
didnt have a bar but desk clerk pointed me to a good one.
This was an older very well kept hotel. Loved the view from the 9th floor.
Hated the fact that there is very little parking. There were cars in the parking lot blocking other cars and there were cars right in front of the hotel entrance. Hated it!!!
It is in a very central location
Friendly staff, helpful and nice. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Pool was closed for season on April 1.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again.
The free breakfast was very good
Great Location. It is right in the middle of El Paso.
The front desk staff could not locate a baggage cart to take our luggage upstairs.
Front desk excellent. Answered questions about restaurants, how to get places. We were given extended checkout time since plane did not leave until 3.We were provided with shuttle service.
We were driving from San Diego to Dallas for Christmas and El Paso was our overnight destination going and coming home. We had stayed the previous week and our stay was really The location was perfect as it was centrally located and close to the freeway.
After dark, hard to find food. HOT TIP - call for pizza, they deliver. Food from vending machines is very expensive, there is a microwave to heat - better to call for fast food delivery.
staff very friendly and helpful
Supposed to be full of character, minus the attitudes of the employees One might get to enjoy that.
I would have to say that breakfast was good, parking the same, and the location worked out great. The price was excellent!
The front desk staff with the exception of one lady was really not very friendly. A few times we felt that we were an inconvenience to them.
The location was great.
I asked for a wake up call the first night and did not receive it. I was fortunate enough to wake up in time to make it to my destination but was very displeased about not getting my wake up.
Close to freeway, close to my destination.
Dated decor. Difficult to understand @ front desk, but friendly. Sketchy area.
The AC ran continuously even when thermostat was set to 80. Could not get the room warmer than 66 degrees.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Continental breakfast was decent and location was convenient to downtown.
Pool was closed for the season?? In Texas??? In Late April??????
It was ok but did not have enough parking spaces and the elevator was dirty for about an hour ,other than that it was ok
I had to stay for business and the hotel was perfectly located downtown close to my office. The room was nice and quiet, even though the hotel is located just off of I-10. It was a great experience.
The staff were really attentive. I requested a crib very late at night but they were very nice about it and brought it to my room immediately. We had a good view and the room was very comfortable.
This hotel appears to have been recently updated. The rooms were clean and the overall property was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located very close to the freeway so there is some noise but that is to be expected. The breakfast was fantastic and offered a great variety of choices that was well beyond any continental breakfast I have ever experienced, I especially liked the cinnamon rolls. We received a welcome gift which was a nice touch. The hotel also offered complimentary afternoon snacks and soft drinks which was nice. I would easily stay here again
Our stay at Holiday Inn Express Central couldn't have been better. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. The staff were friendly and courteous answered all of our questions that we had about the area and places of interest. I would recommend this Holiday Inn Express to anyone who asked.
The location is great for a business trip as it is in the heart of downtown.\nThe only bad thing is the parking lot is limited and in front of the hotel between 2 busy streets. It is well lit, but still, it leaves you with a vulernable, exposed feeling re leaving your vehicle there overnight.
I'm a fresh air person, and the windows don't open. Also, this is now an all non-smoking hotel. Yes, the place is kinda smelly, I don't know if it's the carpet or something in the walls? Does not live up to HI Express standards.
The name change from Travelodge to Holiday Inn should have reflected better standards. Carpet is old and smelly, business center needs a lot of improvement, rooms need new decorations and upbringing, employees and front desk staff need to adapt tp holiday inn standards. Great location!
