The vans were ready as promised.Cons:
I picked up two 15 passenger vans and our group of 20, with luggage, was prepared to head out on a several hour trip. Since the vans were not filled with gas we had to stop, before getting started, to fill the tanks. This was a bit annoying. And, to bring the vans back with the same amount of gas was impossible so I was charged for several gallons of gas upon returning the vans. Again, a bit annoying.Budget

Have to wait for half an hour outside the branch for the lone staff to return. Then found out after settling my charges here in Toronto that I was charged twice for the insurance coverage.7.2 Good

You wrote a review for Avis Rent A Car 2 days ago 1.0 star rating 7/25/2018 An unbelievable event that is stranger than fiction. I made a reservation on 6/28/18 for a 3-day rental of a full size car in St. Louis, MO, beginning yesterday, 7/24/18. Yesterday, before making my flight to St. Louis, I realized that the reservation had been made for a location off the airport property, so I called the corporate customer service number to see if this could be changed. It turns out the PGA event in St. Louis left no cars available at the airport. I thanked the agent and ended the call. When I got to the off-site location (via Lyft but no fault of Avis), the agent there told me my reservation had been changed to June of next year in Alaska for a SUV vehicle! I called the corporate customer service number and explained my dilemma, and they said they could do nothing to change it. Because of the PGA event, this off-site location was out of cars (except for the one I had reserved but then lost due to the change in reservation). I filed a grievance and asked to be called by a supervisor in 24 hours. No call. No car. No help. So I have been stuck taking several Lyft rides to my business appointments. Unbelievable.Hertz

Had to go find someone to help me when I first got there. Stood upfront for a few minutes and finally wondered around until I found help. Van was lowest quality out of options listed online. Then drop off location was closed and directions hard to read on drop off box. For cost of rental this was not the experience I expected.6.0 Okay
